Encounters of the Wild is a side tale in Ghost of Yotei. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Encounters of the Wild side quest.

Starting Location: Encounters of the Wild
To start the quest, you have to get into the house on the other side. To do this, turn the statue on the left so it looks to the right. And the right statue has to look to the left so they face each other. After that, cross the rope.
On the other side, you will see two more statues. The left statue has to look to the left this time, and the right one to the right. This unlocks the door to the house.
Enter the house now, and read the scroll on the left side to start the quest. There is also a shrine in here.
Get out of the house and cross the rope again. Turn left and you will see the Sarufutsu lighthouse. Follow the way and enter it.
Inside, you will see a closed door. Turn left, make the statues face each other, after that pick up the middle statue, and place it on the left pedestal of the door.
Then with the statues on the right side, repeat what you did before and let them face each other and pick up the middle statue, and place it on the right pedestal of the door.
Now go through the door, and you will get a pop-up on the screen that you found the Hunting Camp Hideout.
Follow the path to enter the camp.
Explore the Nine Tail Hideout
When you enter the camp you will see a fox inside a cage. Free him.
Then follow the fox into the cave and make your way through it, it’s a small cave with a linear path. At the end, climb out of the cave and move forward to reach the sanctuary grove.
Explore the Sanctuary Grove
When you enter the grove, head right and jump over some wooden pillars to the other side.
You will see two houses. Head to the wall between those houses to see a bear, then a settler woman speaks to you after.
Talk to the woman inside the house.
Reflect at the Altar
After talking to the woman, a deer leads you outside to a scaffolding that you need to climb up to reach the altar. Then pray at the altar and select any skill you want to unlock.
This finishes Encounters of the Wild in Ghost of Yotei.
