Pride Before Tea is a sensei tale in Ghost of Yotei. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Pride Before Tea side quest.
- Chapter: Chapter 2 – The Onyro
- Region: Oshima Coast
- Quest Giver: Ginji
- Requirement: available upon entering Oshima Coast for the first time during Main Tale: The Saito Brothers
- Reward: Ginji’s Guard Armor (Armor)
- Quest Info: Ginji’s worried about the war. He wants to talk where the Oyobe River meets the sea.
Objectives:
- Meet Ginji by the bridge at the mouth of Oyobe River
- Defeat the Dragon’s soldiers
- Find Ginji
- Search the attic for Ginji’s armor
- Defeat the Dragon’s soldiers
Starting Location: Pride Before Tea
Talk to Genji the Armorer in Oshima Coast > Benten Port > Genji the Armorer. When you fast travel to Benten Port you can directly select “Genji the Armorer” to spawn in front of him. Must talk to him twice: once to open his shop, then quit out and talk again to start his tale.
Meet Ginji by the bridge at the mouth of Oyobe River
This is located to the east of Matsumae Residences. Just talk to Ginji here and accept the job.
Defeat the Dragon’s soldiers
After the conversation with Ginji, you will face some soldiers, kill them all.
Find Ginji
Ginji is in the attic of the house, guarded by a soldier whom you need to kill.
Search the attic for Ginji’s armor
The armor is located in the basket in the corner.
Defeat the Dragon’s soldiers
After you pick up the armor, a fight against more soldiers starts. Kill them all.
This finishes Pride Before Tea in Ghost of Yotei.
