Ghost of Yotei The Storm Blade Walkthrough

The Storm Blade is a mythic tale in Ghost of Yotei. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the The Storm Blade side quest.

• Reward: Dance of Wrath Technique,  From One Ghost to Another

Starting Location: The Storm Blade

This quest starts by approaching the Forgotten Shrine in the south-west of Oshima Coast. Then the storyteller will talk to you which starts the tale.

Discover the myth

Head upstairs next to the storyteller and enter the area.

Investigate the area

Here, turn right and cut through the bamboo.

In the next area, you will find a fox altar. Swipe down on the touchpad to pray at the altar to trigger an interaction with a gray fox.

Follow the gray fox to a hidden opening and squeeze through the entrance.

Find a way forward

Follow the fox until you can’t go further.

Then jump onto wooden planks and onto the cliff.

From here, grapple onto the trench and swing over to the waterfall.

Get onto another wooden plank and jump over to the next waterfall.

Follow the path and you reach an open area. Here, turn right and climb up the cliff.

Jump over the two platforms to reach a wooden beam, which you need to cross.

Swing over to the other side and climb up the wall. Then follow the path to the end and squeeze through the wall.

Investigate the area

Here you will meet the fox again and interact with the box below the tree.

Follow the gray fox

After the interaction with the box, follow the fox to the next area. You will reach a seemingly dead end.

From here, turn around and climb up the wall, then onto the cliff.

From the cliff, jump on the trench and then to the other side to safety. Follow the given path to reach the Lost Shinobi Den.

Here you will see a cavern.

Enter the cavern

To reach it, turn right and enter the house. Climb up the ladder to the roof, from here jump on the cliff and climb up.

Climb down the rope and get to the cliff on the left side.

Climb up the cliff, get on the wooden plank, and jump to the cavern. Inside, follow the path to the end and crawl through the opening.

Claim the Storm Blade

In this room, just interact with the blade to trigger a little cutscene.

Chase the Nine Tails

You will be attacked by some Nine Tails. Kill them and get out of the cave, and jump into the water below.

Turn right and follow the path until you drop into a river.

Climb out of the river

Here, quickly swim forward to reach a wall you can climb up.

Follow the gray fox

After climbing the wall, you will find the fox again. Follow him to a field full of white flowers.

Find the Nine Tails

On the field, you will see a house, behind that house, you will find footsteps in the mud that lead to a gate. Enter that gate to find the sword thief.

Defeat the Nine Tail Sword Thief

Defeat the sword thief and you will get the Storm Blade, and you unlock  From One Ghost to Another.

After that, you will get a new technique, Dance of Wrath. You have to use it and kill the remaining enemies.

A conversation with the storyteller from earlier will start. Pick any options you want during the conversation.

This finishes The Storm Blade in Ghost of Yotei.
