Introduction

Welcome to the Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide! Ghostrunner 2 is a first-person slasher game. To get the Platinum we need to play through the game only once. It is important to collect all the collectibles along the way to avoid having to replay levels. There are also 10 hidden challenges that need to be completed in some levels.

Step 1: 100% Playthrough [10 Hours]

In the first step, collect all the collectibles in the levels and complete every Hidden Challenge. Refer to Ghostrunner 2 Collectible Guide.

Step 2: Roguerunner.exe [3 Hours]

Once you found all story collectibles, you still need 4 collectibles exclusive to Rogurunner.exe mode. This is a roguelike mode where every death forces a complete restart. In this mode you have to finish all 4 stages in one life. If you die you are reset to the first stage and must replay them all. The stages are also randomized. As a reward we get a collectible for each stage you finish. A good strategy is to play only parkour levels and use the double jump ability.

Step 3: Godrunner [2 Hours]

Finally, you have to complete 5 levels without dying. Reloading the checkpoint or closing the application will not work and will count as a death. It is advisable to keep this trophy for last, as you can use upgrades and equipment to make things easier.

Easy levels are “Uninvited Guests”, “Will Bushido Allow It?”, “Licking The Wounds”, “Hacker’s Den” and “Can anyone hear me?”.

Here is an easy method:

  • Step 1: Go to settings and turn on Gameplay counters
  • Step 2: Play any level
  • Step 3: If you die, continue but press options if you respawn and choose back to menu (the death Counter Shows 1 Death now)
  • Step 4: Select from the Main Menu Play and Continue (you’ll spawn again at your checkpoint without any death). This makes the trophy much easier.

Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap Nasty!
Kill 6 Shinobi with a perfect-parry
Silver
Shinobi are enemies we come into contact with early on. These are the runners with the double swords who chase us as soon as they see us. For this trophy we need 6 perfect parries. We do this by pressing :l1: just before the attack. When an attack is successfully blocked, the enemy dies.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap One-Star Man
Kill 3 enemies with a single shuriken without using the environment
Silver
For this trophy we need to buy the Motherboard Upgrade and the Energy Distribution skill. With this skill we throw three shuriken at once. In addition, we buy Tracking System, which allows us to hit enemies more easily. Then we equip these skills and go to any level where three or more enemies are close together. This trophy can be done on any level. It is only important that the shurikens do not hit barrels.

Fully upgrade the Motherboard
Gold
To fully upgrade the motherboard, we need to find memory shards. However, we don’t need all of them because there are more shards in the game than needed.

For Memory Shard Locations refer to the Collectible Guide:

Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap Baby Steps
Buy your first Upgrade Chip
Bronze
Upgrade chips can be purchased from vending machines in the game or hub. Buy any one there to get the trophy.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap Half Man, Half Machine
Buy 10 Upgrade Chips
Silver
Upgrade chips can be purchased from vending machines in the game or hub. Buy 10 Chips to get the trophy.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap All Jacked Up
Buy all the Upgrade Chips
Gold
Upgrade chips can be purchased from vending machines in the game or hub. Buy all the Chips to get the trophy. We have the opportunity to buy upgrades with the Ghostrunner currency we earn. We get more currency by killing enemies while performing high combos. Collecting collectibles also brings in more currency. At the end we won’t have enough money to buy all the upgrades, but we can quickly repeat short levels to get around 10-20,000 depending on the combo.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap You’ve Reached The Right Number
Get a x15 combo
Silver
The 15x combo is available in two different versions. The easiest way to get the trophy is in the Behind the Curtain level, at the secret challenge. We have to kill all the enemies here. However, there is an exploit here, because when we die, the combo counter does not go down. This is the easiest method and the fastest.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap He Just Wanted To Help
Defeat Ahriman without using Bakunin’s Taser
Bronze
For this trophy we are not allowed to use Bakunin’s Taser in the boss fight. This means that we are not allowed to press :r3: in the fight.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap No More Totems
Destroy 3 Dismantler totems in less than 45 seconds
Bronze
For this trophy we have to be quick, because we have to destroy three healing totems from the Dismantler in Danse Macabre within 45 seconds. To do this, we look at a color of the boss, because as soon as he glows green, he spawns his totems. Look out here where they spawn and run straight to them. If it didn’t work, simply reload the checkpoint.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap Scorch Squaaad!
Kill 8 enemies with a single use of the Flux ability
Bronze
For this trophy we need to equip the Flux ability and buy the Ultimate Booster 1 and 2 chips. Then we use the ability where there are many enemies. This happens almost automatically.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap First Time?
Die for the first time
Bronze
Just Die for the first time. It’s unmissable!
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap The Old-School Way
Finish any level without blocking
Bronze
A little Easter Egg from the first game, because we have to complete a level without blocking. This is easiest in the level “Will Bushido Allow it”.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap Explosive Personality
Kill 5 enemies with one explosive barrel
Bronze
For this trophy we have to kill 5 enemies that were hit by the explosive barrel. There are many opportunities for this throughout the game. An easy place for this is Licking the Wounds level. A little later in the level we have to jump from a platform up into a ventilation shaft. We slide down this and end up in a room with exactly 5 enemies and an explosive barrel. Wait a moment and throw a shuriken at it. Alternatively, you can use our Tempest ability.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap Be Like Water
Deflect 10 bullets in a row
Silver
For this trophy we choose an opponent who will shoot us with a bullet. Then we parry his bullet 10 times in a row with :l1: to block the shot. We do this 10 times in a row to get the trophy.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap Master Manipulator
Kill 4 enemies with a single use of the Overlord ability
Silver
For this trophy we need to equip the Overlord ability and buy the Ultimate Booster 1 and 2 chips. Then we use the ability where there are many enemies. This happens almost automatically
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap Bikemaggedon
Ran over 5 enemies with the motorcycle
Bronze
For this trophy we have to pass 5 opponents with the bike. These can be earned very quickly in the Winds of Desolate level.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap Godrunner
Finish any 5 levels without dying
Gold
For this trophy you have to complete 5 levels without dying. Easy levels are “Uninvited Guests”, “Will Bushido Allow It?”, “Licking The Wounds”, “Hacker’s Den” and “Can anyone hear me?”.

Here is an easy method:

Step 1: Go to settings and turn on Gameplay counters

Step 2: Play any level

Step 3: If you die, continue but press options if you respawn and choose back to menu (the death Counter Shows 1 Death now)

Step 4: Select from the Main Menu Play and Continue (you’ll spawn again at your checkpoint without any death). This makes the trophy much easier.

Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap Faster Than Light
Earn a gold medal in every challenge
Silver
For this trophy we have to get all the gold medals. See the video guide below:

Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap Time For Your Ninja Rope To Shine
Use the gap-jammer on stunned enemies 25 times
Bronze
This trophy comes when we stun large enemies with, for example, the shuriken and then approach them with our grappling hook with :square: .
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap This… Is… Dharma!
Kill an enemy after launching him in the air with the Tempest ability
Bronze
For this trophy, we need to equip the Tempest ability. Then we hit an enemy who then flies into the air to kill him afterward.
Ghostrunner 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap Not Like The Others
Complete a level without using the Basic Attack
Silver
For this trophy we are not allowed to use our basic attack :r2: . It is advisable to get this trophy only when having almost all the skills, because then you can play through a level with only Shuriken. An easy level for this is “Can anyone Hear me?” Here we ride a motorbike a lot and can ignore enemies for the most part.

For Be Like Water, what’s the best enemy? A deflected shot usually kills the enemy. Does it work against the ones with shields?

I got the Trophy in the Setting the Stage chapter (Find the Cathedral Entrance). There is a platform where there is an enemy that shoots with three other normal enemies. I killed the normal enemies before. Then I just left the shooting man alive and parried bullets with the sword. You can do that theoretically everywhere. You should only be careful not to equip certain upgrades, such as the bullets returning to enemies when parrying them.

I did it on the challenge where I had to deflect bullets to square things

With Godrunner do I have to do 5 levels in a row without dying? Or can I just 5 levels at anytime to play as long as death count is 0?

I have 5 stages showing 0 deaths but no trophy

Same for me, finally i got it after 7 phases with 0 kills.

It’s possible that if you close the game without finishing the level it will appear with 0 kills but it won’t count, I don’t know, it’s just a guess.

So I beat 5 levels with 0 deaths, I didn’t do any back to menu cheeses or anything, just start to finish with 0 deaths, and the trophy won’t pop, very sad cause the last level took me a bit and I was so ready to see the plat pop

I had the same problem, on one of the tries I just just upgraded shurikens and tempes skill on the first level Uninvited Guests and it popped. So i think the blocking might be the problem as I used it in previous efforts also – I guess basic attach is not referring only to the R2 button, but the katana as a whole, so any attack connected to it voids the trophy.

Any luck with this one? I’m on Series X but having the same issue. Have completed Can Anyone Hear Me? with nothing but the shuriken multiple times now and still won’t unlock. Last I need to complete the list.

I think it don’t count. You have to choose a level that shows your statistic at the end. For me it doesn’t work too, i went for the first level wich is also very easy.
