Ivaldi’s Protection is the 2nd Favour (Side Quest) in the Realm of Niflheim in God of War 2018. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of Ivaldi’s Protection Favor.
- Quest Giver: Sindri (in Niflheim Realm)
- Requirement: Completed 1st Niflheim Favour “Ivaldi’s Workshop“
- Reward: 1075 XP, unlocks Ivaldi’s Armour Sets for crafting, next Favour “Ivaldi’s Curse“
In this favour you must find Ivaldi’s Armor so that Sindri can forge it for you.
Starting Location
This quest triggers automatically upon completing the favour “Ivaldi’s Workshop” in the Realm of Niflheim.
Search for armour materials
The last thing you did in the previous favour (Ivaldi’s Workshop) was to open the centre chamber. Now you can enter it and open any of the red chests. Whichever one you open first will contain “Ivaldi’s Rusted Armor” as seen on the picture below. This is a very important item – one that allows you to craft the Ivaldi armor sets, the highest-level armor in the game.
Give Ivaldi’s armour to Sindri
Return to Sindri’s Shop and speak to him, all done!
This finishes the Ivaldi’s Protection favour in God of War and immediately triggers the next favour “Ivaldi’s Curse“.
