Forgotten Caverns contains 6 Collectible Locations in God of War (2018, PS4). This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Forgotten Caverns Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

Before we start, it’s important to know that you can only find everything after the water has lowered through story progress. The earliest chance to do this is after story mission “A New Destination” or even better after the story.
#1 – Favor 1/1 (Dead Freight) – 0:05
After you land at the main beach (not the sea tunnel), you can see a Wayward Spirit standing at the beach. Talk to him to get a side quest from him. You’ll have to kill 4 groups of enemies, all marked on the map by waypoints. See Dead Freight Walkthrough.
#2 – Language Cipher Chest 1/1 – 1:14
From the wayward spirit, continue further into the caverns and climb up (note: the Mystic Gateway here counts towards “Shores of Nine” region). At the top of the caverns is a purple language cipher chest, those are needed to unlock Muspelheim and Nilfheim.
#3 – Artefact 1/1 – 2:07
The artefact is sitting next to the last collectible, just a few steps away.
#4 – Raven 1/2 – 2:16
From the last collectible, climb down the golden chain. The next area has a Nornir chest. Above the Nornir chest sits a raven.
#5 – Nornir Chest 1/1 (Health Upgrade) – 2:39
To open the Nornir chest (under the Raven), you must hit the 3 runes to the left of it in quick succession. Just keep throwing your axe. They’ll be spinning quicker and quicker with each throw so it’s all about timing your throws. If you stand close enough it’s easy though. Also, be sure to do a quick throw with 
, NOT a heavy throw (those are too slow).
#6 – Raven 2/2 – 3:14
Now get back on your boat and leave the beach. Take the boat into the sea tunnel that leads to Region “Konunsgard”. On the left side of the sea tunnel you can park your boat, then climb up the wall to find a raven sitting on top. So this one’s actually a completely separate area that’s not directly connected to the first 5 collectibles (can only get there by boat).
That’s 100% of the collectibles you can find in Forgotten Caverns area in God of War.
