Starting Location: Rampage: Rednecks
- Location: Alamo Sea / Marina Drive / Liquor Market
- Quest Giver: Two rednecks that are about to have a very bad day
- Requirement: Complete “Trevor Philips Industries“
- Can Be Started By: Trevor
- Time Limit: 2:00
- Weapons: Assault Rifle, Grenades
| NOTE: Don’t be fooled by the red haze on your screen as you start the mission, Trevor’s special ability has not been activated. During a Rampage mission you will have infinite ammo for the available weapons and take less damage than you would normally, but you can still manually activate Trevor’s special ability to further increase Trevor’s damage resistance and output. You should also be sure to begin every rampage mission with a full set of body armor to maximize your survivability. |
In front of the Liquor Market, Trevor will encounter two rednecks sitting in plastic lawn furniture who make the unfortunate mistake of talking about his mother. That just will not do.
The first rule of every Rampage mission is that the faster you kill enemies, the faster they will respawn. You will need to kill enemies quickly and efficiently to spawn enough enemies in order to hit your Gold Medal target within the time limit:
- Get 45 Kills
Immediately headshot the two rednecks running away from you, and be ready for the pickup truck and dune buggy approaching with reinforcements. Ignore the dune buggy for now, and concentrate on the pickup truck coming straight at you on Marina Drive giving you easy headshots for the next Gold Medal requirement:
- Get 3 Headshots
Kill the passenger first so the vehicle doesn’t swerve, then kill the driver. By this point, rednecks will be spawning behind you. Quickly switch to grenades, and toss one at the pickup truck, then turn around and toss one at the dune buggy. Its three redneck passengers should still be in the blast radius as you get your remaining Gold Medal Requirement:
- Destroy 2 Vehicles
Swap back to your assault rifle and kill any survivors of the explosion along with any other rednecks that have spawned in the distance, then turn to deal with the rednecks spawning in the liquor market parking lot. There’s also a ladder on that side of the building, so watch out for any that climb up to the roof. The last thing you need is some hero hiding in cover, sniping you from an elevated position while sapping your momentum.
At this point there should be six to eight rednecks spawning all around you. If you have not already activated Trevor’s special ability, this is a perfect moment to do so. Methodically work your way around the clock, killing each enemy in turn while moving in a rough circle in front of the liquor market. Run to close the distance faster on enemies coming towards you, and it will also draw enemies behind you to move closer and potentially pull them out of cover. It will also allow you to periodically watch that ladder for easy kills on climbing enemies.
Any time you have a vehicle pull up, lob a few grenades at them then swap back to your assault rifle and keep moving. Either the grenade will get them or the secondary explosion of the vehicle will, and you can get any survivors on your next circle. You can try to get headshots where it won’t slow you down in order to increase the rate of your special ability regeneration, but after you have the 3 headshots for the Gold Medal requirement, speed is far more important so don’t pass up an easy kill. Take advantage of your infinite ammo and put enemies down fast. Once again the faster you kill, the faster that enemies will respawn, so if you’re killing efficiently you’ll always have a target rich environment to get the 45 kills you need.
This finishes Rampage: Rednecks in GTA V.
