Hogwarts Legacy Interior Decorating Walkthrough

Interior Decorating is a Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Interior Decorating side mission.

Location: Secret Rooms -> Room of Requirement
Quest Giver: Professor Weasley
Quest Level: Level 5
Requirement: Having Finished Main Quest: The Room of Requirement
Reward: Altering Spell, Conjuration Spellcraft x2, 180XP
Mission Info: Professor Weasley would like to meet with me in the Room of Requirement.

Return to Professor Weasley

Conjure floor decorations x5
Speak to Professor Weasley in the Room of Requirement

Starting Location: Interior Decorating

Speak with Professor Weasley

Just talk to Professor Weasley in the Room of Requirement, she wanna decorate the room with you.

Gather Moonstone

You need a total of x15 moonstones. You can vanish Items inside the Room with Evanesco to get moonstones, you also find moonstones outside of Hogwarts, it’s a pretty common material.

Return to Professor Weasley

Once you have enough Moonstones you can return to Professor Wealey, if you already had x15 Moonstones before starting the quest you can simply talk to Professor Weasley again.

Conjure wall decorations x5

Cast the Conjuring spell, select “Room of Requirement Artwork” and place any items you want on the wall. It can be the same item five times.

Conjure floor decorations x5

Cast the Conjuring spell, select “Decorations” and place any items you want on the floor. It can be the same item five times.

Speak to Professor Weasley in the Room of Requirement

After you placed all decorations, talk to Professor Weasley again. You will learn the Altering Spell now.

Alter the style of an item

Aim at any painting you placed earlier, cast the Altering Spell, and select an alternative picture. Can be combined with “Adjust the size of an item”, while selecting a new painting, press or to change the size.

Change the color of an item

Aim at any Item you placed during the “Conjure floor decorations” step, and cast the Altering spell, and press / tp select a new color.

Adjust the size of an item

Aim at any painting you placed earlier, cast the Altering Spell, and press or to change the size. Can be combined with “Alter the style of an item”, while changing the size, select an alternative picture with or and confirm it with / .
