Introduction

Welcome to the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Trophy Guide! A fighting game in the Marvel universe made by ArcSys. The game is a team fighting game which does not play like your standard team fighter. While other fighters prefer to give you a team of 2 or 3 characters, Tokon decided to try a 4 character team setup. However, there is a twist. You do not start the fight with your whole team available, instead you can “unlock” your third and fourth character on the team by performing specific actions like Wall-Breaks or losing a round. Your whole team shares a life bar and you can switch to any character on your team at any time and use the remaining 3 as your assists.

The game is your typical fighting game with some short offline modes and also online fights. The trophy list is similar to every other fighting game you might have played in the past: some comboa challenges, some singleplayer fighting, and online grind.

Step 1: Finish the Tutorial and Combo Challenges [2 Hours, skill-dependent]

Finish the tutorial, then head straight into the combo challenges to learn some standard combos for the characters of your choice. Luckily, you only need to clear any 100 combo challenges between all available characters. That’s less than half of the available combo challenges. At launch there are 21 characters with 10 challenges each for 210 challenges total. So if you do the first 5 challenges of each character it’s more than enough (one character called “Champion” is unlocked after clearing 1 of 5 scenarios in episode mode). Just stick to the characters and combo challenges you find easiest.

Step 2: Episodes + Other Offline Modes [4 Hours]

Finish all the episodes and All-Star Arenas. For Episodes, you can lower the difficulty after losing a fight. For All-Star Arena, you play on Easy from the get-go. Nothing too challenging here.

Step 3: Online Grind [6-7 Hours for everything with a boosting partner, much longer without a partner]

Play a ranked match, 10 Player Matches, enter a lobby to get all the trophies related to it and get a partner to grind out the 500 online fights unless you are planning on staying on the game for a while. With a partner each fight can be done in 10 seconds by playing 1 round matches. Legit played matches can take up to 5 rounds of a minute each, depending on your and your opponent’s skill, so it would take much longer if you don’t boost it.

Champion of the Universe
Obtain all other trophies.
Earn all other trophies in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls to unlock Platinum (no DLC required).
The Watcher
Clear all Episodes.
Clear all 5 Episodes. Each base game roster has its own episode. An episode is a mix of fights and comic book style cutscenes for every team. The trophy will unlock after clearing all 5 of them.
I Can Do This All Day
Finish 500 battles. (Excluding Offline Versus and Training mode.)
You will have to finish 500 ONLINE battles. Sadly offline battles in modes like Arcade do not count towards the trophy. It is highly recommended to find a boosting partner and finish the 500 Matches by playing 1 round and winning them in 10 seconds every time. Otherwise playing 500 matches will take a very long time.
Deadpool Saves the Tōkon Universe
Unlock all secret commands for the Command List using Deadpool.
Head to training mode for this. Pause the game and you will be able to see the Command List menu point on your right side. There you can check Deadpool’s moveset. The trophy wants you to find his moves, which are not shown in the command list but will once you perform them at least once in training mode. There are 5 moves you have to discover as shown in the image below:

Sexy Centrefold and Healing Agura are taunts. Fever Dream varations are Super Skills. The inputs in the picture as well as in the explanation are assuming you are on the left side and the enemy is to your right.

  • Sexy Centrefold: Press  at least 5 times in very quick succession. Deadpool will perform the famous Jack’O Pose from Guilty Gear series.
  • Healing Agura: Press  at least 5 times in very quick succession and press :circle: and :r1: at the same time to trigger the move. Deadpool will sit down crosslegged with his katana in his arms and heal himself.
  • Fever Dream: Ranbu is performed by inputting a quarter circle motion towards the enemy starting from  and ending in :right: followed by pressing :circle: and then :square: in a very quick succession.
  • Fever Dream: Phoenix is performed by inputting a quarter circle motion away from the enemy staring from  and ending in :left: followed by pressing  / :left:  followed by :right: and :square: and :circle: at the same time. Looks more bizarre than it is.
  • Fever Dream: Raging is the famous Raging Demon input known from Street Fighter’s Akuma. Press :square: :square: :right: :triangle: :circle: in quick succession.
Champion Buster
Clear the Champion Course in All-Star Arena.
The trophy description for this is actually misleading. All-Star Arena offers 5 difficulty settings from Easy to Champion. The description makes it sound like you have to finish one run of this mode on Champion difficulty which is actually not the case.

Instead, the game wants you to finish one run in each of the 5 available courses one time to unlock the CHAMPION course in the middle of the course grid and finish it afterwards. It’s a case of naming a difficulty settting and a course the same way which may cause confusion.

Avengers, Assemble!
Clear the Fighting Avengers scenario in Episode mode.
Each base game roster has its own episode. An episode is a mix of fights and comic book style cutscenes for every team. The trophy will unlock after clearing the Fighting Avengers episode.
To Me, My X-Men
Clear the Unbreakable X-Men scenario in Episode mode.
Each base game roster has its own episode. An episode is a mix of fights and comic book style cutscenes for every team. The trophy will unlock after clearing the Unbreakable X-Men episode.
With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility
Clear the Amazing Guardians scenario in Episode mode.
Each base game roster has its own episode. An episode is a mix of fights and comic book style cutscenes for every team. The trophy will unlock after clearing the Amazing Guardians episode.
To Hell and Back
Clear the Samurai Outriders scenario in Episode mode.
Each base game roster has its own episode. An episode is a mix of fights and comic book style cutscenes for every team. The trophy will unlock after clearing the Samurai Outriders episode.
Kneel Before Doom!
Clear the Knights of Doom scenario in Episode mode.
Each base game roster has its own episode. An episode is a mix of fights and comic book style cutscenes for every team. The trophy will unlock after clearing the Knights of Doom episode.
Weapon X
Clear 100 combo challenges in Character Lessons.
Since the game has 21 characters at launch, you only have to finish on average less than 5 combo challenges with each character. Every character has 10 challenges so you only have to do on average half of the available combo challenges. One character called “Champion” is a hidden unlockable from clearing 1 of 5 scenarios in episode mode.
The Prelude to Battle
Clear the Startup Battle.
Clear both stages of Startup Battle without skipping any of it. Should you skip any part of it, you will have to replay the entire tutorial from the beginning in the main menu.
It’s Showtime
Defeat the Promoter in the Episodes.
You will fight the Promoter in every single Episode. You will have to damage her until the game gives you enough super bar to finish her off with a Tōkon Assemble move.
Heart of a Champion
Clear any course in All-Star Arena.
Simply clear one of the courses in All-Star Arena.
This is Where the Fun Begins
Finish a battle in Versus.
Play a single fight in offline Versus mode.
Ragnarok
Win a game in Arcadia Rumble.
Arcadia Rumble is a bizarre party-game mode which you can play either offline or online. It is recommended to play it offline once and be done with. Arcadia Rumble alternates between running around the lobby map with a chibi character, beating each other up while using powerups, followed by a fight against one of the enemies on a timer, alternating between the two for a total of 5 rounds. You gain points by KOing the enemies in either mode and you will win by having the most points at the end.
Combo Aficionado
Clear 10 combo challenges in Character Lessons.
Since the game has 21 characters at launch you can choose from 210 challenges. Doing the first one with half the roster is enough for this trophy.
Everybody Needs a Hobby
Customize your avatar.
In the pause menu in an online lobby simply customize your default Captain America avatar.
Roll the Tape!
View any replay.
In the online menu go to replay and watch one.
New World
Enter the Online Lobby.
Self-explanatory, simply go to the Online Lobby.
Best. Activity. Ever.
Play an Activity within the Open Lobby.
In the open lobby you can find some minigame and play them once there. For example basketball or a rhythm game where you have to pick up Thor’s hammer.

Welcome to the Danger Room

In Battle Menu create a room.
Ranking Up Without Fear
