Lugia Location in New Pokemon Snap: You can find Lugia in the following locations:
- Lental Seafloor – Take the alternate path from the start and while descending in the water right before the Wailord you will see a Lanturn swimming around. Throw an illumina orb at the Lanturn and it will swim down. Once the Wailord swims up look behind where it swam up and you will see two Frillish holding down the Lanturn. Throw an illumina orb at the Lanturn again to free it and it will swim slightly ahead. It will show a path to the right into Lugia’s den so follow it. Once in the den you will see Lugia sleeping. There is a Crystabloom near its head and one on a ledge behind the Lugia. Lugia will not be available until post game.

- 1 Stars: Undersea Research Level 3 – So much majesty!
Obtained by taking a picture of Lugia sleeping.
- 2 Stars: Undersea Research Level 3 – Smooth swimming!
Obtained by taking a picture of Lugia swimming. To wake it up illuminate both Crystablooms and Lugia will wake and swim away.
- 3 Stars: Undersea Research Level 3 – You don’t see this every day
Obtained by taking a picture of Lugia swimming. To wake it up illuminate both Crystablooms and Lugia will wake and strike a pose before swimming off. The 3 star pose is the pose it strikes before swimming off.
- 4 Stars: Undersea Research Level 3 – Guardian of the seas
Once Lugia swims off continue ahead and it will swim back toward you. Throw a fluffruit at it and it will do a barrel roll swimming away. It will swim back and stop above the ruins and roar at you. This roar is its 4 star pose.
