Nioh 3 features 4 open world maps that take place during different historic eras: Warring States, Heian, Antiquity, Bakumatsu. Here you find the full world map with all collectibles marked for 100% completion.
Each region has multiple sub-regions. Warring States and Bakumatsu are the biggest maps. Heian is about half the size of Warring States. Antiquity is a linear map that’s only accessed during two story missions.
- Warring States = 11 sub-regions (363 Collectibles)
- Heian = 9 sub-regions (225 Collectibles)
- Antiquity = no sub-region
- Bakumatsu = 10 sub-regions (288 Collectibles)
The way exploration works in Nioh 3 is that you gather collectibles to increase the “Exploration Level”. There are 4 Exploration Levels per sub-region. At each level you get a permanent boost to attack, defense, or luck stats. It’s worthwhile to collect everything as it makes you stronger and in turn makes the game easier. At Exploration Level 2 the whole region gets unfogged, at Exploration Level 4 all Collectibles get marked on the map automatically. You can use the maps below to find enough collectibles until you reach Exploration Level 4. Then you can put a marker on the remaining collectibles. If you need help with specific collectibles refer to the Nioh 3 Collectible Guide.

I was so worried after warring states that all 4 areas would be big af. Looks like one of them is just a straight line lol

Correct, Antiquity is very short and linear with few collectibles. Only takes an hour or so.
Warring States is by far the biggest with the most collectibles. Heian and Bakumatsu aren’t as big and have fewer collectibles. Despite the large number of collectibles it goes pretty fast to find everything.
