NTE Norms on the Anomaly Express Side Mission Walkthrough

Norms on the Anomaly Express is a side mission in NTE (Neverness to Everness). Unlike other side quests it’s not marked on the map. It’s not listed in the collectible tracker but is a side quest in quest log.

• Starting Location: “Beyond the Rails” Anomaly Zone in Miguel District (train station in the north of the map)
• Quest Giver: Miss Levi
• Requirement: Finish Prologue 2, enter the train station
• Reward: 60 Annulith, 15000 Fons, 12 Senior Hunter Guide, 12 Colorless Dye, 30000 Beetle Coins

Objectives:

1. Go to the Bureau of Anomaly Control to apply for a ticket
2. Go to the Station to join the session
3. Go to the BAC to take the written exam
4. Go to the station to collect your Train Ticket

Starting Location: Norms on the Anomaly Express

This quest is not visible on the map and you will have to find it yourself. Head to the train station in Miguel District and enter the Anomaly Zone. There you will find Miss Levi, an owl running the station. Miss Levi will tell you about an exam you can take so you can ride the Ghost Train.

Go to the Bureau of Anomaly Control to apply for a ticket

Teleport to BAC in Area M10 in the south of the city, talk to NPCs there and read the message one of them sends you. Then head back to the station.

Go to the Station to join the session

You can fast travel back to the station, but if you do so it will spawn you at the train where you start combat challenges, which is not relevant to this quest and you can quit out of.

Talk to Miss Levi at the front desk again, she will study with you for the test. After all the dialogues head back to BAC once again for your exam.

Go to the BAC to take the written exam

You will be asked 10 questions which you will have to answer correctly. Here are the questions and their answers:

2. Which of the following behaviors may threaten passenger safety during the ride? A. Destroying old Train Tickets on your own

5. Passengers who violate the Ghost Train Passenger Manual may…? C. Be permanently banned from riding the Ghost Train

6. You found someone’s lost old Train Ticket today and plan to secretly keep it as a memento. This is… Incorrect

7. The Ghost Train station includes facilities such as stairs, an information desk, platforms, and tracks. The ceiling is above, the floor is below, and humans generally stand on the floor. Correct

8. You accidentally left your belongings on the Ghost Train and hurry back to retrieve them before the Train departs. This is… Incorrect

9. The Train Manager is an owl-like Oddity that emits blue light, wears a uniform cap, and carries a Megaphone. The Manager has two eyes. Any other creature claiming to be the manager cannot be trusted. Correct

10. Safely contained Class III Anomalies are permitted on the board of the Ghost Train. Correct

Go to the station to collect your Train Ticket

Head back to the train station for the final time to collect your Train Ticket by talking to Miss Levi one final time.
