The Vintage Shop’s Mirror / In the Reflection is a side mission in NTE (Neverness to Everness). The quest is initially called “The Vintage Shop’s Mirror” on the map, but once started the name changes to “In the Reflection” in the quest log.
- Starting Location: Hankaku Street in Bridge Crossing
- Quest Giver: Unnamed NPCs
- Requirement: Available after unlocking the scooter in Prologue 2 – Good Business, Better Treasure
- Reward: Switch Appraiser option (allows you to switch your main character to the other gender you haven’t chosen initially), 50 Bridge Crossing Footprint Points

Starting Location: The Vintage Shop’s Mirror / In the Reflection
Go to Vintage Shop to Gather Information
You will find 2 NPCs talking about a Mirror Anomaly in the Vintage Shop, which apparently allows you to see the future. Go to the Vintage Shop to see what is going on there. Turns out the Vintage Shop Owner is just trying to scam people. You will decide to try your luck in the Gold Apple Collection Hall instead.
Go to the Gold Apple Collection Hall
Head to the Gold Apple Collection Hall and talk to Dolores there. She will inform you that they do not have anything close to what you are asking about in their Exhibition but she heard about a Store Owner having a basin which sounds similar to what you are looking for. Head there now instead.
Talk to the Grocery Store Owner
The Shop owner will mistake you for a buyer but after clearing the water she will let you take a look at the basin in the back of the shop. Doing some will show you an alternate version of yourself, which is the opposite gender main character you have not chosen initially.
Finishing the quest after talking to the Shop Owner again will unlock the Switch Appraiser option which will allow you to switch the gender of your main character if you want to.
