Onimusha Way of the Sword All Charms Locations

Onimusha Way of the Sword contains 15 Charm locations. Finding and fully upgrading all Charms unlocks the Charmed Life trophy & achievement.

Charms can be enhanced once you complete “The Stage is Set at Kiyomizu”. Then you can enhance the Charms by speaking with the shrine in the southeast corner of Emma’s Hall. Charms will require Red Souls and Favor to upgrade. Red Souls can be farmed by defeating enemies. Favor requires you to trade in items. These items can be found as shining objects on the floor, small treasure chests that shine, from helping citizens getting attacked by Genma and then speaking to them, and by purchasing them at the merchant. Then head to the shrine and ‘Make Offering” on the Charm you want to enhance.

All Charms require the same thing for leveling. To get to Level 2 on all charms require 3,000 Red Souls and 3,500 Favor each. To get to level 3 on all charms requires 6,000 Red Souls and 6,500 Red Souls each. You will need a grand total of 135,000 Red Souls and 150,000 Favor to upgrade every charm.

You can still free-roam and find all collectibles up until the Point of No Return before the final mission “The Clash At Rendaino”. If you keep a manual save from this point, then you can still clean up everything from there.

#9 – Charm of Enticement – Reward for completing the “The Odd Couples” Chance Encounter.

#10 – Fencer’s Strength Charm – Reward for completing the “The Faceless” Mystery of Kyoto.

#11 – Blazing Charm – Reward for completing the “Worm-ly Ways” Mystery of Kyoto.

#12 – Oni Strength Charm – Reward for completing the “Some Unfinished Monkey Business” Mystery of Kyoto.

#13 – Charm of Protection – Reward for completing the “The Night Parade” Mystery of Kyoto.
