In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl you can unlock Mew and Jirachi as gifts for having played previous games. This guide shows how.
If you have played Pokémon Let’s Go (either version) you can unlock Mew and if you played Pokémon Sword/Shield you are eligible to obtain Jirachi.
Mew
Head to Floaroma Town and look to the left of the Pokemon Center and you will see an elderly couple standing in the flower patch:
Walk up to the elderly woman and speak to her. It will check to make sure you have a save data for either Pokémon Let’s Go game. If you do, she will give you Mew:
Jirachi
Head to Floaroma Town and look to the left of the Pokemon Center and you will see an elderly couple standing in the flower patch:
Walk up to the elderly man and speak to him. It will check to make sure you have a save data for either Pokemon Sword or Shield. If you do, he will give you Jirachi:
That’s all there is to getting Mew and Jirachi in Shining Peal and Brilliant Diamond.
