Characteristics: It feeds on soil. After it has eaten a large mountain, it will fall asleep so it can grow.
Larvitar Location in Pokemon Legends Z-A:
- Caught in Wild Zone 15 (available after Main Mission 19: Reaching Rank D). However, it seems very rare there. You can also catch it in the other location shown below and it will count towards completing the Wild Zone regardless where you catch it.
- Caught on the rooftops of Bleu Sector 7 in the south of Lumiose City (not in Wild Zone). First, you must do Side Mission 045: On Maintenance Duty, to activate the yellow speedramp up the building. Just give the worker any drink, for example water or soda to finish the quest. Then on the northern roof on a patch of grass you will find Larviatar. If it’s not there, fast travel back and forth until it appears. It’s best to make a manual save before engaging with it, if you don’t catch it close the game and click continue to reload the save and retry.
