Characteristics: This Pokémon can control 100 tons of fallen snow. It plays around innocently by leaping in and out of avalanches it has caused.
Chien-Pao Location in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet:
- Legendary Pokemon – Collect the 8 yellow stakes in the south-west part of the map, which will unlock a shrine where you can catch this Pokemon. See all Yellow Stake Locations below. Note that most stakes require the Climbing Ability for your mount, which you unlock by defeating the False Dragon Titan (Level 55). The legendary itself is Level 60 and you must be sufficiently leveled.
- This Legendary is available in both versions Scarlet and Violet.

Interact with the Yellow Shrine after getting all 8 Stakes. This will spawn the Legendary Chien-Pao. If you defeat it by accident, it immediately respawns behind the shrine and can be battled again until you catch it.
