Pokemon Sword & Shield Dracozolt Location

November 20, 2019 by PowerPyx 1 Comment

Galar Dex: #374 Dracozolt
Abilities: Volt Absorb (1) | Hustle (2) | Sand Rush (H)
Type: Electric / Dragon
EXP Group: Slow
Egg Group: Undiscovered
Hatch Cycles: 35
Height: 01.80 m, Weight: 190.0 kg, Color: Green
Evolution: None (one form only)
Characteristics: In ancient times, it was unbeatable thanks to its powerful lower body, but it went extinct anyway after it depleted all its plant-based food sources. The powerful muscles in its tail generate its electricity. Compared to its lower body, its upper half is entirely too small.

Dracozolt Location in Pokemon Sword & Shield: You can find Dracozolt in the following locations:

  • Can only be obtained from the fossil researcher on Route 6 (standing left of the camp site). You must find two upper body fossils + two lower body fossils and combine them at the fossil researcher. Depending on the combination you get a different Fossil Pokemon.
    • Dracozolt  = 2 x Fossilized Bird + 2 x Fossilized Drake
    • Arctozolt = 2 x Fossilized Bird + 2 x Fossilized Dino
    • Dracovish = 2 x Fossilized Fish + 2 x Fossilized Drake
    • Arctovish = 2 x Fossilized Fish + 2 x Fossilized Dino
  • How to Get Fossils:
    • First it’s worth noting that Sword players are more likely to find Bird Fossil + Dino Fossil & Shield players are more likely to find Drake Fossil + Fish Fossil. However, all fossils are obtainable in each version, they are not exclusives, just different rarity. You can get all 4 Fossil Pokemon with either version, without the need to trade.
    • 2 Fossil Parts should be in the same area of Route 6 where the Fossil Researcher is (where you climb up the ladder to Fossil Researcher area, pick up the glowing item on floor). Which ones you get varies with game version.
    • 2 Fossil Parts are from talking to a man inside of Stow-on-Side Pokemon Center. Which ones you get varies with game version.
    • More Fossils are randomly found in the Wild Area (glimmering item pickups)
    • More Fossils can also be randomly found on Route 6 (glimmering item pickups), but not guaranteed
    • The most reliable method: To get the Fossils that are rare to your version, go talk to the Digging Duo in Bridge Field (Wild Area). They want watts do dig up items for you, and they are the most likely to find Fossils. The guy on the left gives you better but fewer items, the guy on the right gives less rare items but more items overall. For the purpose of getting rare Fossils it’s recommended to go with the guy on the left, but they can definitely both dig them up for you. (Sword rare = Drake + Fish  //  Shield rare = Bird + Dino). It’s very likely going to cost you tens of thousands of watts to get what you need from them.
    • When you have enough Fossils you can bring them back to Fossil Researcher on Route 6 to create your Pokemon.

Dracozolt Stats:

  • HP: 90
  • Attack: 100
  • Defense: 90
  • Special Attack: 80
  • Special Defense: 70
  • Speed: 75
  • Total Combat Points: 505
