Pokemon Sword & Shield Mime Jr. Location

November 24, 2019 by PowerPyx 1 Comment

Galar Dex: #364 Mime Jr.
Abilities: Soundproof (1) | Filter (2) | Technician (H)
Type: Psychic / Fairy
EXP Group: MediumFast
Egg Group: Undiscovered
Hatch Cycles: 25
Height: 00.60 m, Weight: 013.0 kg, Color: Pink
Evolution: Mime Jr. (Level up knowing Move “Mimic” learned at Level 32) > Mr. Mime (Galarian) > Mr. Rime (Level 42)
Characteristics: It mimics everyone it sees, but it puts extra effort into copying the graceful dance steps of Mr. Rime as practice. It looks for a Mr. Rime that’s a good dancer and carefully copies the Mr. Rime’s steps like an apprentice.

Mime Jr. Location in Pokemon Sword & Shield: You can find Mime Jr. in the following locations:

  • The most reliable way to get Mime Jr. is through breeding & hatching eggs. You must equip a Galarian Mr. Mime (blue color) with the item “Odd Incense”, which you can buy from the Herb Shop in Hulbury (it’s very important and mandatory that your Galarian Mr. Mine is equipped with “Odd Incense” or else this won’t work). Now put your Galarian Mr. Mime (holding Odd Incense) in the Pokemon Nursery with a Ditto and run around until they make an egg. It’s confirmed to work when using a Galarian Mr. Mime, whether the non-galarian version (pink) works is unclear. You could also let 2 Mr. Mimes (male+female) breed, but Ditto is easier as it automatically turns into the species of the 2nd Pokemon in the Nursery and always makes an egg. You find a Nursery on Route 5. Pick up the egg from the Nursery and drive around with the bike until it hatches (this is tied to the distance you have traveled). What worked for me was to give a male Galarian Mr. Mine the Odd Incense and pair it with a Ditto for breeding, the egg hatched and Mime Jr. came out.
  • Wanders around Rolling Fields during Snowstorm.
  • Can also be caught from 2-Star Raids (Level 25-30). There are 3 raids with this Pokemon (in both Sword and Shield).

Mime Jr. Stats:

  • HP: 20
  • Attack: 25
  • Defense: 45
  • Special Attack: 70
  • Special Defense: 90
  • Speed: 60
  • Total Combat Points: 310

I have confirmed that a Kantonian Mr. Mine holding the Odd Incense works to hatch a Mime Jr.
