Case Info: Two men were found dead near an open grave at the cemetery. Both victims had bite marks on their necks. Evidence points to the possible involvement of supernatural forces. Case is pending further investigation.
Starting Location: What Was Did In The Shadows
What Was Did In The Shadows Police Case starts in Borough: Scaladio, Place: Cordona Police Station.
Enter the police station, look to the left after entering and you’ll see a quest board. Interact with it to start “What Was Did In The Shadows” case.
Case Location (Cordona Cemetery)
The crime scene is found at the cemetery, where you went earlier in the story to visit your mother’s grave, in the south of “Miner’s End” borough. As usual there will be a policeman at the crime scene. Enter the gates behind him to where the graves are and look for the evidence markers on the floor.
Case Solution (Clues)

to highlight clues in yellow. They are also marked by blue police signs on the ground.
#1 – Where the “1” marker is, inspect the flower basket and the stone/hat next to it. Must interact with the hat, the left side of stone, and the blood on right side of stone.
#2 – Where the “2” marker is at the open grave. Use your focus ability on the missing tool in the toolbelt to reveal a missing knife. Inspect the bottle to the left. Then move the left stick all the way left so that you can reach the piece of paper on the coffin, read it.
#3 – From the last evidence, follow the path until you reach the end of the crime scene (blue wooden blockade shows the end). There at a building you can interact with the remains of a campfire. Inspect the grilled rat, mushrooms, alcohol bottle.
#4 – Where the “3” markers is, inspect the hat ripped blue cloth on the tree branch and the hat on the ground.
#5 – At the “4” marker, inspect the shovel and the blood on ground.
#6 – Lastly, open your casebook and use chemical analysis on the bottle of clear liquid. The solution is shown below.
With all the evidence collected, it’s time to interact with the white orb at the open grave to start the reconstruction of what happened.
Reconstruction

#3 – Bald man with shovel in hand attacking other man.
#4 – Man with hair stabbing neck of victim where the shovel was found.
#5 – Man with hat and alcohol bottle standing next to open grave.
#6 – Man with hair taking the knife from toolbelt.
What happened – true killers revealed: The brother of the deceased became furious when he caught the anatomist exhuming his sister’s body. He killed him with a shovel. The graveyard keeper took to his heels, but didn’t get far – he fell, hitting his head on a stone, which rendered him unconscious. With the murderer gone, the reporter, who was hiding, punctured the neck of the first victim to imitate a bite. But when he did the same to the second victim, he killed an unconscious man. So we have two murders, and two murderers, but no vampires.
Return to Police Station
Return to the clerk at tha police station to report your findings, which ends this quest.
