Plan Bee is a Police Case in Sherlock Holmes Chapter One. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Plan Bee side quest.
Starting Borough: Scaladio
Starting Location: Cordona Police Station
Quest Giver: Sergeant Stark automatically gives it to you after The Scapegoat
Requirement: Complete 5th Police Case The Scapegoat
Reward: 30 Money, 2 Wardrobe Items, 
Well-Earned Rest
Case Info: I agreed to help Sergeant Stark establish the fate of Chief Inspector Placido. His disapperance several months ago may be linked to his last case and a certain Hive Master.
Starting Location: Plan Bee
Plan Bee Police Case starts in Borough: Scaladio, Place: Cordona Police Station.
It is automatically started upon completing the 5th police case The Scapegoat. As soon as you hand in that quest to the clerk, he will tell you that he got a promotion and will give you this final police case called Plan Bee.
Search Chief Inspector Placido’s Office
Inside the police station, head through the door on the left, then enter the door that says “Chief Inspector Placido”. In here you will need to pick up some clues.
#1 – The note on the table.
#2 – The evidence files, inspect the shelf with missing files.
#3 – The shelf next to door, use focus ability on missing 6-shot revolver, newspaper, casebook.
#4 – From your casebook track “Placido’s Office” objective to unlock new focus points. Then use focus on the picture frame at the wall and the documents on the floor to the right of the picture frame.
#5 – Behind the picture frame inspect the 2 papers and the jar with ear in it. Personally, I took the ear with me, this is what’s tested and recommended.
That’s all evidence here. Now we must track the objective “Notes on the Hive Master” and head over to the City Hall.
Search City Hall Records for Beatrice Queen
Go to City Hall, shown below. It will be marked automatically on your map at this point in the game. Head inside, enter the archives on the right side.
Choose Evidence “Notes on the Hive Master”, then filter by:
- Subjects = Citizens
- Period = British (1800s)
- District = Miner’s End
This will tell us about 4 properties. Pin the objective “Property of B. Queen”, the correct property is the 4th one on the list “Warehouse in Miner’s End, currently for sale. Located on Clay St. by Stephenson’s Bridge to Silverton”. See location in next objective below.
Find Property of B. Queen (Warehouse Location)
Head to the location shown below, which is the correct warehouse we must search. Enter through the gate.
Defeat all enemies inside the warehouse (doesn’t matter if you take them down or kill them). Then head through the metal gate and upstairs to the office
In the office, there are 3 areas to investigate.
#1 – The crate on the left, which has some guns in it.
#2 – The desk, which has a crumbld paper on the right, green/yellow wool on the right, paper in the middle.
#3 – The fireplace, check for a burned page inside the fire and another page on the floor in front.
From your casebook you can start chemical analysis on the burnt papaers. The solution is shown below.
Find Apiary Location
Track the objective “Letter from H.M.”. We must now find the Apiary Location. Normally, you could get clues to where it is by talking to people in the streets, but you can save yourself the trouble and head straight there. See the location shown below, just west of the warehouse.
At the apiary talk to the man uphill in front of the building. You must then observe him. There are 4 observation points – his missing ear underneath hat, bee stings on hands, tobacco on shirt, 6-shot revolver in holster.
Important: You must identify this man as Placido, the chief police inspector to get his follow-up dialoges for Well-Earned Rest! If you identify him as the Hive Master he will send you away and you’ll miss the trophy / achievement!
Pick the dialogues “You Killed Him” > “I’ll consider your request”.
Return to Police Station
Now head back to the police station. Sergeant Stark is found in the room opposite Chief Inspector Placido’s office.
Important: For Well-Earned Rest you must tell him “Placido is dead”. This will finish the case and unlocks the trophy / achievement. If you reveal that Placido is alive you will miss out on this.
