Shimizu Residence is the 11th area in Silent Hill f. This 100% walkthrough will guide you to all collectibles in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies, achievements and 100% completion is included: Documents, Hidden Omamoris, Character Upgrades, Inventory Upgrades, Trophy-Relevant Documents, Puzzle Solutions, Trophies & Achievements.
The puzzles in this area are not difficulty-dependent, but ending-dependent. On the first playthrough you can only get Ending 1, so the puzzles will be the same for all players on the first playthrough.
Shimizu Residence
Offering: Antique Comb (300 Faith)
Take the first left and this will be in a nook past the first room.
Offering: Dried Carcass (200 Faith)
In a room in the north, on a pillow.
Offering: Dried Carcass (200 Faith)
After using the Calendar to access the second area, go into the first room on the left to find this on a crate.
Character Upgrade
Head south through the hallway into another room to find this.
Offering: Shriveled Abura-age (500 Faith)
Down the eastern hallway, next to where an enemy is located.
Scales Puzzle
Ending 1 – You will need to place the five dolls on the scales to balance them.
- Left Scale – Headless Doll
- Right Scale – All other dolls
Doing this will give you the Scales Plate.
Offering: Shriveled Abura-age (500 Faith)
After using the Calendar to access the third area, take the eastern path and enter the room to find this on a shelf in the corner.
Offering: Dried Carcass (200 Faith)
In the third northern room, in a chest of drawers.
Character Upgrade
In the northwest corner of the hallway, behind a watering can.
Inventory Upgrade: Furoshiki
In the kitchen in the southwest, to the right as you enter.
Ominous Photo Puzzle
Ending 1 – Back in the first area, place the photo of Hinako on the empty space in the Photo Room. Then rotate all the photos to be upright, except Hinako’s, which needs to be upside down. This will reward you with the White Bird and Fox Plate.
Omamori: Cuckoo
After completing the Ominous Photo Puzzle and picking up the second crest, the screen will flash red and you will hear a growl. This will indicate that new monsters have spawned throughout the area, but more importantly it also triggers a new hidden room opening. Go through the Calendar doors into the third area, then go right down the hallway past the Hokora Shrine. There will now be a section of the wall that is open. Go down the hallway and through the doors to find this sitting on a bloody desk.
My Room Puzzle
Ending 1 – Once you have the three crests, you will need to place them on the plaque in front of Hinako’s Room in the first area.

Offering: Antique Comb (300 Faith)
After opening the red door with the Pine Tree Emblem, this will be next to the Hokora Shrine.
Trophy: Just Shut Up for Once, Dad! 
The next boss fight will be against two bosses at once. For this, you will need to defeat the giant boss with the blade first. Simply ignore the smaller boss and focus only on the big boss.
Next Area: Treasure Hall

Yet you did not mention anywhere in the entire guide where to get her photo, which is pretty much hardest part of entire Puzzle, due to being poorly translated.
I had to set the game to Japanese in order to understand and do this Puzzle, cause neither the game nor this guide helped in any shape or form.

Hey there. You left out an entire section on how to get the third crest. This was very annoying as once you get the third crest from the picture puzzle, so many monsters spawn. You should include the wax / key walkthrough for the crest.
