Silent Hill Townfall contains 85 Clues & Documents locations. Finding all Clues/Documents unlocks the Observation and Thorough Inspection trophy/achievement.
Clues and Documents are found throughout the game, giving either clues to puzzles or information about the story. Items that give specific information about puzzle solutions are tracked as Clues, whereas optional ones are tracked as Documents. In the final playthrough stats both of these are counted as the “Discoveries Found” statistic which contributes to the main ending you get in the game.
