Zelda Tears of the Kingdom The South Lanaryu Sky Crystal Location (Mayanas Shrine)

The South Lanayru Sky Crystal is a Shrine Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). It unlocks Mayanas Shrine. This guide explains where to find The South Lanayru Sky Crystal location to unlock the Mayanas shrine.

The South Lanayru Sky Crystal Shrine Quest Solution (Mayanas Shrine)

1. Head to the shrine shown above from the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower using the zonai devices on the islands leading up to the one with the shrine. Activate the shrine on the South Lanayru Sky Archipelago to start this quest.
2. Head to the Northeast staircase heading down and on the main path on the right side you will find a zonai device already built. Use this device to fly up to the island ahead where the vines are:
    
3. Once at the vines cut them with your sword and head inside. In the back behind another set of vines is the crystal:
   
4. You can either use the devices in the round area to create a new device to fly the crystal back down or if you didn’t destroy the device you used to get up here you can add the two batteries to the device. Either way get the device ready and place it on the edge of the cliff face and grab the crystal and attach it to the device:
   
5. Once you land back on the original island grab the crystal and detach the crystal and bring it to the shrine to complete this quest and collect the rewards inside:
    

Mayanas Shrine Solution

(Explain what sort of task this Shrine is about, e.g. what objects it introduces you to, is it about combat, platforming with certain tools)

1. Head into the shrine and grab the Ice Fruit off the trees and use Ice Arrows or the Frost Emitters in the room to create ice platforms:
   
2. Grab one of the platforms and head to the ramp on the far side of the pool. You have to drop the ice platform and let it slide over the spikes to hit the target:
    
3. Head into the next room and repeat step 1 in here only you will want to make 10 Ice platforms. Attach the Ice platforms with the stone platforms as such:
   
4. Grab another ice block and walk to the very end of the ramp you made and stretch Ultrahand out as far as you can and drop it on the target to open the door to the chest:
    
5. Once you collect the chest head to the exit gate which is between the two pools of water to finish this shrine.

Interact with the green gate at the end of the shrine for 1 Light of Blessing. It will also restore your health and unlocks the shrine as a permanent fast travel point.
