Ulterior Votive is a Side Quest in Assassin’s Creed Origins. This walkthrough shows how to complete the quest.

Objectives:
- Meet the merchants in the Yamu market
- Speak to the merchant outside Yamu at night
- Kill the bandits
- Speak to the treacherous merchant
- Find the bandit camp
- Destroy the caches of false religious icons
- Speak to Mehenet at the Temple of Sekhmet in Yamu
This quest is a follow-up from Ambush in the Temple, where Bayek learned that there are reports of faked religious items being sold at the Yamu market. Walk over to the market and you will find yourself in an investigation scene and have to talk to some merchants to learn about the rumors.
One of the merchants wants to break his silence but prefers to do so outside the market at nighttime. When you meet him there and he finally wants to spill the guts, you will be attacked by three bandits, which have to be defeated. After this, the merchant will finally reveal the location, where the fake idols are made. Our next stop of this mission will be at the pointed location to the south. The bandit camp has a total of five caches which have to be destroyed and is patrolled by a total of six guards.
You can either kill all guards and destroy the caches afterwards or simply just shoot the caches or the red vases next to them, which will set them on fire. With this second approach, you don’t even have to set one foot inside the camp itself. Once you have destroyed all the goods it is time to return to the temple again and talk to your friend Menehet. He will be happy that you have dealt with this delicate situation and has another favor to ask. But this mission ends here.
