Rampage: Vagos is a main story mission in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in Rampage: Vagos for 100% completion.

| NOTE: Don’t be fooled by the red haze on your screen as you start the mission, Trevor’s special ability has not been activated. During a Rampage mission you will have infinite ammo for the available weapons and take less damage than you would normally, but you can still manually activate Trevor’s special ability to further increase Trevor’s damage resistance and output. You should also be sure to begin every rampage mission with a full set of body armor to maximize your survivability. |
Coincidentally, Trevor runs into two more punks in front of a liquor store. This time, the Vagos trigger Trevor’s deep insecurity about his Canadian roots.
The first rule of every Rampage mission is that the faster you kill enemies, the faster they will respawn. You will need to kill enemies quickly and efficiently to spawn enough enemies in order to hit your Gold Medal target within the time limit:
- Get 45 Kills
Immediately headshot the two Vagos running away from you, and be ready for the SUV and muscle car headed down the street towards you. Try for a headshots as they approach, but after they’ve stopped they will make even easier targets as they get out. This should put you over the top for the next Gold Medal requirement:
- Get 6 Headshots
After you’re sure you’ve gotten 6 headshots, just opt for quick, easy kills. You have infinite ammo so feel free to spray and pray, but you’ll still have to reload so be sure to not close on an enemy with an empty clip. Don’t destroy the two vehicles that pull up at the beginning right away, instead using them as partial cover as you circle the area killing targets of opportunity. But watch the rooftops of the liquor store and the houses across the street, looking for gang members that climb up to snipe you over the vehicles.
Enemies will be funneled down the streets in all four directions, making it an easy killbox as you circle the area. When you are approaching the end of the two minutes or better yet, when you can get a couple of kills by doing so, lob some grenades at the two vehicles that pulled up at the start of the mission. Wrecked cars will still provide some cover, and explosions are cool. Especially when they come with a Gold Medal requirement:
- Destroy 2 Vehicles
Continue to kill, making use of Trevor’s special ability when you have to be out in the open in the middle of the street. In this mission there never seems to be a shortage of targets, but that also comes with more risk of damage. Cars will stack up quickly in this area, but so will burning wrecks. The smoke affects your aim more than your enemy’s, so be aware of your surroundings.
