Water Rats is a Side Quest in Assassin’s Creed Origins. This walkthrough shows how to complete the quest.

Region: Siwa – at the Informant Table, where you can pick up several quests

Objectives:
- Find the Amanai cave in the mountains
- Kill the bandits occupying the cave
When you pick up this quest from the Informant Table, Bayek will gain knowledge about the fresh water spring and that it’s occupied by bandits who claim high prices. Our task is obvious: get rid of them.
First of all, we need to make use of Senu to locate their actual position. Once found, ride over to the cave entrance with your mount. The cave itself is divided into a higher and a lower section and features less than ten bandits which are all level four or below. Most of them roam around a bit and can be picked off easily and the remaining rest can be either distracted and stealthed or be shot with your bow. Even if you break stealth and engage some of them in combat, it is very doable and a good training to use your shield and intelligently place your attacks. Once you killed the last bandit in this area the quest will be completed.
