Control Resonant Urban Survival Walkthrough

Urban Survival is a side quest in Control Resonant. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Urban Survival side mission.

Objectives:

3. Talk to the Survivalist

Starting Location: Urban Survival

This mission is started by picking up the Investigation Order note outside the parking garage area.

Find the Person Setting Up the Traps

Progress through the parking garage area to the other street. You can then go into the building to the south.

Inside the building interact with the intercom near the door.

Defeat the Hiss

After speaking with the man in the room, you will be attacked by waves of Hiss. Defeat them to continue.

Talk to the Survivalist

After the Hiss are defeated, go back and interact with the intercom by the door again.

Retrieve Granny from the Survivalist’s Home

The man now asks you to save two of his family members who are still outside in the Evac Zone. First, go to the northeast corner to find Granny. You can enter the apartment building through door on the rooftop.

Go down the stairs and enter the apartment. In the back corner you can find a green urn on a table.

Save Olivia from the Gym

Olivia is at the gym along the main road in the Evac Zone.

In the gym, go through the first door on the left to find the plant you can pick up.

Return Granny/Return Olivia

You can now head back to the building where the Survivalist was locked, and interact with the intercom again.

Place the two objects on the table to the left.

Tell the Survivalist About Granny and Olivia

Then interact with the intercom beside the door again.

Get the Survivalist’s Car Keys

The Survivalist wants you to find his brother, but first tells you about his keys. Go into the adjacent room where you can pick up Survivalist’s Car Keyfob from the counter.

Get the Apartment Key

Go to the northeast corner of the Evacuation Zone, at the dead end above where you can enter The Subway Fault. Use the keyfob to spot the car, then interact with it to obtain the key.

Find the Survivalist’s Brother

Now head to the end of the road to the west, where you can enter the apartment. Use the elevator inside to reach the apartment, then follow the path inside to the living room.

Find a Memento of the Survivalist’s Brother

The brother has been turned Hiss, so you need to find a different item to bring back. Pick up the photo that is on the ground.

Take the Photo Back to the Survivalist

You can now head back to the Survivalist again and speak with them through the intercom. After the conversation you can interact with the table to place the photo and complete the mission.

This finishes Urban Survival side quest in Control Resonant.
