Control Resonant contains 7 FBC Task Board Locations, 1 per Zone (7 Zones total). Each Taskboard holds 6 FBC Tasks for 42 total FBC Tasks (7 Boards x 6 Tasks = 42 total). For the Diligent Consultant trophy & achievement you need to finish any 20 FBC Tasks. There are 22 more than you need so you can choose the ones you like to do.
FBC Tasks are short mini quests that can be started by interacting with the FBC Taskboards. FBC Tasks include reaching a specific scouting location, defeating enemies, escorting FBC agents back to the nearest base or safe location and many more. More tasks unlock as you advance the story. You can still clean these up after the story in free-roam, nothing is missable.
To spawn the Taskboards you must first interact with an NPC in Central Zone, as shown below in the first location.
FBC Taskboard #1 (Central) – this spawns the other Taskboards:
First, interact with the NPC in Central > Field Office. Just outside the Field Office entrance, where the “O” of “Office” is on the map. He isn’t marked, but when approaching he will say “hey, got a minute?” and has a red interact prompt on him (if he’s not there or you can’t talk to him, advance the story further). He will introduce you to FBC Tasks.
Afterward you can find one Taskboard in each FBC Safe Zone. They get marked on the map when you go near them.

Inside the Oldest House in Downtown.
FBC Taskboard #3 (Evacuation Zone)
Outside the Evac Building in Evacuation Zone.
FBC Taskboard #4 (West Incursion Zone)
Inside the House of Mirrors in West Incursion Zone.
FBC Taskboard #5 (The Park)
At the FBC Base on the rooftop in the Park.
FBC Taskboard #6 (Underpass)
Past the cable car in the Underpass (reached during Main Quest: Recursions and Iterations).
FBC Taskboard #7 (The Unknown)
Near the Oldest House fast travel point in the Unknown (you will also need to do Side Quest: Pope’s Research to fully explore The Unknown zone).
