Death Stranding 2 Mine Locations

June 23, 2025 by Gage Leave a Comment

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has 9 Mines that can be restored. Restoring Mines is required for the following trophies:

  • Dig, Dig, Dig! trophy – Restore three mines.
  • Rail Restorer trophy – Restore and fully reopen a monorail line.

Mines allow you to use Chiral Crystals to mine for the various other materials, giving an easy way to obtain large amounts of materials instead of waiting for them to replenish at Facilities or picking them up in MULE areas. Facilities and Mines connected to the monorail lines also allow you to transport large amounts of these materials or other cargo quickly between monorail stops. Because of this it is recommended you repair all monorail lines and mines past the number required for each of the trophies. Online player contributions contribute toward the repairs, so you aren’t required to contribute the full number of materials yourself unless you are playing completely offline.

Most mines can be upgraded further after they are restored, which allows you to mine more materials at once for the same number of Chiral Crystals. Mines will degrade over time due to Timefall and natural disasters like other structures, so will need to be repaired if their durability runs out before they can be used again.

There are no mines located in Mexico, all are located in Australia.
