Order 38: Emergy Provisions Delivery South Knot City is a main mission in Death Stranding. The problem is when you reach South Knot City an antimatter bomb will explode and you get a game over screen. This guide will show you how to fix the bomb explosion.
Bring South Knot City into the Chiral Network
The mission is accepted in Lake Knot City. A guy will give you a “fragile package” during a cutscene. Turns out, that was Higgs and not a friendly helper. The package you’re carrying actually contains a bomb and it’s primed to go off when entering South Knot City.
As soon as you enter South Knot City the place gets blown up. If you do it multiple times, you do receive an onscreen prompt about visiting Fragile. But this part can be confusing as the game doesn’t show any waypoints.
You must go find Fragile in the private room at “Distribution Center South of Capital Knot City”. It’s just halfway between Lake Knot City and South Knot City (a facility you connected to the UCA earlier).
Fragile will realize the cargo is a trap in disguise. She sends Sam to throw this nuke into the tar lake next to South Knot City. This triggers a cutscene and now Sam can safely enter South Knot City without explosions.
