Dragon’s Dogma 2 Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge Walkthrough

Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge is a side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge side mission.

• Starting Location: Bakbattahl
• Quest Giver: Sara
• Requirement: Complete Dulled Steel, Cold Forge side quest
• Reward: 6000 XP, 35,000 G
• Quest Description: Some time has passed since Sara – Brokkr’s most promising apprentice – undertook the task of repairing the regalia sword. Perhaps you should go and see how it’s coming along?

Objectives:

1. Check on Sara’s progress
2. Find Sara
3. Deliver Sara to the cave entrance
4. Return to the smithy
5. Report back to Roman

Starting Location: Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge

This side quest is started at Brokkr’s Smithy in Bakbattahl, immediately after completing Dulled Steel, Cold Forge by giving the sword to Sara to repair.

Check on Sara’s progress

You must leave the area and wait before you can come back to speak with Sara. Sitting and resting on the bench outside the Inn works fine, then come back for another scene with Sara and Brokkr discussing the sword. You must leave the area again and can wait on the bench, then return to the shop and speak with Brokkr.

Find Sara

Brokkr says that Sara has journeyed off to the Volcanic Isle to work on the sword, and wants you to bring her back. You need to head to Mountain Base Cave to find her.

You’ll need to make your way through the cave until you reach the forge area where Sara is waiting, perfectly fine. On the way make sure you’re killing as many enemies as possible, as it will make the next part easier.

Deliver Sara to the cave entrance

You now need to help Sara back out of the cave. Retrace your steps up from the forge, and if you were killing everything on the way in then you won’t have any issues getting back out.

Return to the smithy

After reaching the entrance, Sara will immediately leave, and you need to meet her back at the smithy in Bakbattahl to receive the restored sword.

Report back to Roman

You can now head back and speak with Roman in Vernworth, who should still be outside the castle in the garden where you left him.

This finishes the Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
