In Far Cry New Dawn you may have run into an issue that cars randomly explode. No worries, it’s not a bug or glitch.
Why do cars explode?: Because the Highwaymen boobytrapped them.
Some Highwaymen vehicles are Booby Trapped. Make sure you don’t hear a beeping noise when getting into one!
The Hotwire Perk will automatically disable Booby Traps. It costs 4 Perk Points:
And that’s all there is to it. Get this perk and cars will no longer randomly blow up.
