Starting Location: The Burning of Castle Ishikari
Automatically accepted after completing The Yari’s Fury.
Reach the bomb maker
You’ll need to find the bomb maker located in Otaru Hills and recruit her to your cause. This is part of a separate sensei tale questline, see Sensei Tale: The Bomb Maker.
Liberate Masked Man’s Quarry
Once you arrive at Masked Man’s Quarry, you’ll need to defeat all of the enemies located inside. There are a lot of enemies, so taking some out stealthily before alerting them is the safest option.
Liberate Nishin Fishery
Once you arrive at Nishin Fishery, you’ll need to defeat all of the enemies located inside. There are a lot of enemies, so taking some out stealthily before alerting them is the safest option.
Liberate Broken Horn Garrison
Once you arrive at Broken Horn Garrison, you’ll need to defeat all of the enemies located inside and free the prisoner. There are a lot of enemies, so taking some out stealthily before alerting them is the safest option.
The prisoner is located in the center of the area, being interrogated by an enemy. Once you free him, the enemies will become alerted and you’ll need to defeat them all.
Kill the Oni
The final objective is to find and kill the Oni. This is a part of Main Tale: The Oni.
Meet Sensei Takahashi
After all the above objectives have been completed, go speak with Sensei Takahashi at the Sensei Takahashi Dojo.
Follow Ina and Sensei Takahashi
Follow them as they explain their plan for retaking Castle Ishikari.
Spot Sensei Takahashi with your spyglass
Look at Sensei Takahashi on the cliffside on the left with your spyglass.
Defeat the Oni Raiders
With the signal sent, stare firing at the gate and defeat all the Oni Raiders. After the castle starts burning, finish all the last of the stranglers.
Follow the trail of sake jars
After a vicious night of celebrating, follow the sake jars to regroup with your allies.
This finishes The Burning of Castle Ishikari in Ghost of Yotei and also completes Unfinished Business: Burning Plains.
