Rampage: Military is a main story mission in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in Rampage: Military for 100% completion.

- Get 45 Kills

| NOTE: Don’t be fooled by the red haze on your screen as you start the mission, Trevor’s special ability has not been activated. During a Rampage mission you will have infinite ammo for the available weapons and take less damage than you would normally, but you can still manually activate Trevor’s special ability to further increase Trevor’s damage resistance and output. You should also be sure to begin every rampage mission with a full set of body armor to maximize your survivability. |
Trevor once again takes it upon himself to dispel any stereotypes about Canadians being polite.
The first rule of every Rampage mission is that the faster you kill enemies, the faster they will respawn. You will need to kill enemies quickly and efficiently to spawn enough enemies in order to hit your Gold Medal target within the time limit:
- Get 45 Kills
Swap to your assault rifle, and get two easy headshots on the soldiers running away. Then look to your left to see two humvees coming across the bridge. Avoid getting run over as you headshot the six soldiers in the vehicles for the rest of your next Gold Medal requirement:
- Get 6 Headshots
After you’re sure you’ve gotten 6 headshots with the assault rifle, switch to the grenade launcher for quick, easy kills. You have infinite ammo, so go nuts. There will be a steady stream of humvees and transports full of soldiers, allowing you to rack up impressive numbers quickly. Just don’t be too close to the vehicles when the grenade goes off. With all the vehicles littered in the area, it’s easy to cause a chain reaction that ends up killing you.
About the time you’ve killed your first or second transport full of soldiers, you’ll start to see tanks spawning on the road and/or bridge. This is really the only time that you’re not the most dangerous thing on the map, as a direct hit with a tank shell will kill you. Period. The damage reduction from Trevor’s special ability won’t prevent this, so take the threat seriously.
With that said, you should absolutely still activate Trevor’s special ability immediately. It will reduce the damage from a near miss or secondary explosion, but more importantly it will increase your damage output. Circle-strafe the tank and pepper it with grenade launcher rounds until it explodes. It should take around 7-8 rounds to do the trick. Also, if you’re lucky with the placement of other vehicles nearby, a chain reaction of their secondary explosions will also make short work of a tank, with the added bonus of a bigger boom. Continue to kill transports and humvees until the second tank appears, then kill that one too for the last Gold Medal requirement:
- Destroy 2 Tanks
