The Forgotten Forest contains 29 Collectible Locations in Kena Bridge of Spirits. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in The Forgotten Forest Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

It’s recommended to grab what you can during the story and clean up the rest after the story. Nothing is missable, you can return everywhere. After finishing the story you will be put back in the Title Screen and can click Continue to spawn before the final cutscene. From there you can keep searching for Collectibles. After the story you will have all abilities and access to all map areas, so it will be easier to find your way around. During the story some regions can’t be fully explored on first visit and some Rots and Hats are story related rewards from later on. On the map there’s a collectible counter for each region that tracks how many collectibles you found of each type, except for Meditation Spots which aren’t tracked.

#1 – Rot 1/14
Press 
at the purple icon on the tree trunk, then shoot the flying targets.
#2 – Rot Hat 1/6 (Sibling’s Mask)
From where you are, shoot the flower in the distance to grapple onto it. After dropping down, you’ll find this chest right in from of you.
#3 – Sprit Mail 1/2
In the center of this area is a big tree you can climb on by means of a flower hook and white ledges. Make your way up the tree and instead of shimmying along all the way forward, drop down halfway through to land on a log. From here, grapple onto the flower in the distance and drop down to find this Spirit Mail.
#4 – Rot 2/14
Continue to the top of the big tree, by climbing along the ledges from where you reached Spirit Mail #1. At the top of the tree, grapple onto the flower that leads even further up, at the topmost point of the tree is a rot.
#5 – Flower Shrine 1/3
Now head back to where you grappled onto the very last flower as you made your way to the collectible above. Don’t drop down, but instead jump onto the adjacent roof to find a Forest Tear. Have your Rots interact with it to drop on ground level (still on the roof) and have them place it to the location which is all the way opposite to where you went when going for the previous collectible. Now call the elevator and then the spirit. The spirit must come down with you. Once you reach the bottom you can cleanse this Flower Shrine.
#6 – Rot 3/14
Enter the gate you opened as part of the story (after having cleansed all 4 shrines in Forgotten Woods and defeated the Sprout Captain boss). Immediately after going through the gate, take a sharp right to find this Rot under a rock.
#7 – Meditation Spot 1/2
Now climb the ledges (there’s only one way forward) and continue on until you come to a fork where you have an overlook point on your left and a path forward to your right. Eventually you will find a Forest Tear you can use. Summon a spirit and cleanse the corruption nearby to find a Meditation Spot.
#8 – Rot 4/14
All the way opposite the Forest Tear you used to find the Meditation Spot above is a new area with another Forest Tear. Use it on the adjacent foliage to reveal this Rot under a log.
#9 – Flower Shrine 2/3
Directly in front of the Forest Tear you should see some corruption in the far back that’s blocking the path to a cave. Inside this cave is the Flower Shrine. Guide the spirit towards it to cleanse it.
#10 – Rot Hat 2/6 (Pinecone)
Continue on the normal story path through the Lantern Cave (where Shrine Guardian boss fight takes place in the story). Exit Lantern Cave and you’ll come to another woods area, then on the left in front of some standing stones is a chest with a hat.
#11+#12 – Cursed Chest 1/2 + Rot Hat 3/6 (Taro)
Continue downhill until you can find this Cursed Chest in an off-the-beaten-track area. Kill all enemies before the time runs out to purify the chest and collect the reward. A Hat (Taro) is also in this chest.
#13 – Rot 5/14
From the Cursed Chest, continue in the path straight behind the chest, and shoot the hanging purple fruit on the main path to reveal this rot.
#14 – Rot Hat 4/6 (Deer)
Right of the big stone gate are three statue slots (blue circles on ground). These statues are scattered around the area and they’re very easy to spot – one to the left of the big gate, on to the right, one down the path across from the gate (all within a 20-30 meter radius from the big stone gate). Command your rots to place the statues on the blue placeholders and you will be given this Rot Hat.
#15 – Meditation Spot 2/2
From the big stone gate with the 3 owl statues, turn around and take the next path left to reach a small bridge surrounded over a river. Instead of continuing on, jump in the river on the left. Make your way to the end of the river (shoot blue crystal to summon platforms) until you find the Meditation Spot.
#16 – Rot 6/14
Right of the Meditation Spot is a Rot location by some rocks in the water.
#17 – Rot 7/14
Make your way to the Water Shrine (one of the shrines you had to cleanse for story purposes) where you can summon the spirit by means of the Forest Tear. Guide the spirit to the nearby corruption (south of Water Shrine) to reveal a rock. Have you Rots move this rock to the wall left of the “Water Shrine” fast travel point, then jump up. In this new area, have your rots move the wooden barricade. Now, summon the spirit again via Water Shrine and guide it where the barricade was. There is a stack of leaves your spirit can destroy to reveal a rot.
#18 – Flower Shrine 3/3
To the left of the above rot is a fallen log you can walk on. At the end of this area is a Flower Shrine you can cleanse. To cleanse it you must again summon the spirit via Water Shrine and guide it over the log.
#19 – Spirit Mail 2/2
Now go back at the start of the fallen log and look up to find a flower you can grapple onto. Diagonally from the first is another one you can grapple onto and then one last one exactly where this Spirit Mail is.
#20 – Cursed Chest 2/2
From the last collectible, drop down to where a big pool of water is, use your pulse on the blue platform on the ground to summon some stones in the water. Jump to the stone in the middle of the water, then look up to shoot a crystal that will raise the platform. On this new platform is the Cursed Chest. Kill all enemies before the time runs out to purify this chest.
#21 – Rot 8/14
From the Cursed Chest, cross over to the land area opposite of where you came from. Down the path there, in a little cave by the water, is this rot.
#22 – Rot Hat 5/6 (Acorn)
Leave the cave and use the white ledges nearby to climb up to a Rot Hat Cart. Interact with it to get this Rot Hat.
#23 – Rot Hat 6/6 (Purple Mushroom)
With the entrance to the Forgotten Forest as your departure point, go all the way to right until you find some waterfalls. Behind one of these, in a cave, is this chest.
#24-#26 – Rot 9-11/14
3 Rots are an automatic story-related reward after defeating Sprout Captain Boss and having obtained the “Food Offering” Relic.
#27-#29 – Rot 12-14/14
3 Rots are an automatic story-related reward after defeating Shrine Guardian Boss and having obtained the “Lantern” Relic (inside Lantern Caves).
