)Introduction
Welcome to the Once Upon a Katamari Trophy Guide! Once Upon a Katamari is the first brand new Katamari game on a home console since Katamari Forever in 2009. It features 47 stages, 69 Cousins, 3752 unique items to be rolled up, and even an online multiplayer mode. The plot features a time travel setting that involves exploring different time periods and places around the world, which makes for some fun and unique level designs.
Step 1: Play through the game, rolling up all of the Crowns and Cousins
The trophy list is entirely made up of collecting all of the Crowns and Cousins on multiple levels. Finding all collectibles is the one and only step toward Platinum, nothing else is required.
Collecting all Cousins will require playing the some levels multiple times. This is because Cousins will not spawn in a level until you have collected the previous Cousin on the same level, for example: Cousin #2 will not show up until you have collected Cousin #1 in the same level, and Cousin #3 will not show up if you haven’t collected Cousin #2 in the same level.
With all that being said, all you’ll need to do to earn the Platinum for this game is to beat every level, while following our Once Upon a Katamari Collectible Guide. You can ignore the Presents if you wish, as these only unlock cosmetics for your character but aren’t needed for trophies.
