Mandate Encampment is the 5th region in Phantom Blade Zero and contains 60 Collectible Locations. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in the Mandate Encampment Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Anything that is missable will be marked with a warning, everything else can be collected after the story in free-roam.

Collectibles Overview:
#1 – Bell (Sunset Path)
After entering the area, follow the cave until you reach the exit and it’ll be directly ahead.
#2 – Banyan Tree (Challenge Location)
From the Sunset Path bell, go up the stairs and you’ll see a prompt to grapple up onto the cliff on the right. You’ll find the tree in the center of the area. You’ll have to fight through waves of enemies, then finally have a rematch with Iron Fiend, Young Mistress’s Guardian and Stone Hand, Iron Fever.
#3 – Memory Flower
In the building directly beside the Banyan Tree.
Key Item – Guardian Idol Fragment: Head
From the previous collectible, drop back onto the stairs from earlier and you’ll see the item on the ground next to the giant statue head.
#4 – Bell (Cliffside Walkway Entrance)
From the previous item, continue through the area until you reach the scaffolding and it’ll be directly up the ladder.
#5 – Memory Flower
From the Cliffside Walkway Entrance Bell, follow the path until you reach the larger scaffolding area. Climb up slightly and go down the right path and it’ll be next to the ladder you can kick down for a shortcut.
#6 – Bell (Cliffside Walkway Overlook)
From the previous collectible, keep going across the scaffolding until you go up the elevator. Go to the right and run across the wall and it’ll be directly ahead.
#7 – Blackstone Fragment
From the Cliffside Walkway Overlook Bell, cross the bridge and go through the entrance ahead. Kick down the ladder to the right, then on the far right of the cliff ledge, drop down onto the scaffolding to find the collectible.
Key Item – Guardian Idol Fragment: Arm
From the Cliffside Walkway Overlook Bell, cross the bridge and then drop down to the other bridge on the right. Cross the bridge and it’ll be on a small shrine
Key Item – Mandate Valley Gate Key
From the previous item, cross the bridge again and go up the giant ladder. Go to the right and it’ll be on the ground by the archers that were shooting at you earlier.
#8 – Memory Flower
From the previous item, free the chain and swing across and it’ll be directly at your feet.
#9 – Bell (Mass Grave)
From the previous collectible, open the nearby locked door and it’ll be directly ahead.
#10 – Memory Flower
Directly behind the Mass Grave Bell.
Possibly Memory Flower Location
From the Mass Grave Bell, drop down and you’ll see a friendly NPC fighting off enemies. This enemy apparently drops a Memory Flower, but they didn’t drop it on my playthrough. It’s recommend to NOT kill this enemy until you get the Shattered Hero’s Courage item later on and try killing them after that to see if they drop it.
#11 – Xue, Admirer of Heroes (Tales)
Accepted after defeating Corpse-Eating Xue.
#12 – Memory Flower
From the arena where you fought Corpse-Eating Xue, go up the hill to the right and it’ll be on a small plateau to the left.
#13 – Plain Sword Tassel (Tempering Material)
From the previous collectible, go through the ridge ahead and once you’re in the more open area, it’ll be by the gravestone.
#14 – Memory Flower
From the previous collectible, on the small wooden platform directly behind.
Xue, Admirer of Heroes Objective 1
From the previous collectible, enter the cave on the right and follow it to the end.
#15 – Bell (Moji’s Cenotaph)
From the previous objective, jump across to the other broken bridge and follow the path ahead and it’ll be directly ahead.
#16 – Memory Flower
From the Moji’s Cenotaph Bell, drop down and hug the left wall. Climb up to the small platform where the archer is at and it’ll be near him.
#17 – Bell (Beneath the Watchtower)
From the previous collectible, walk towards the barricade and it’ll be to the right.
#18 – Blackstone Fragment
From the Beneath the Watchtower Bell, go to the second watchtower and defeat the enemies there.
#19 – Bell (Battlefield Ruins)
From the previous collectible, drop down on the left and follow the wall. You’ll see the bell directly ahead.
#20 – Memory Flower
From the previous collectible, hug the left wall and follow the ravine until you read the spiked wall and it’ll be on the left.
#21 – Bashpole (Phantom Edge)
Reward for defeating Wan Jun, The Coppermaul.
#22 – Bell (Main Encampment Gate)
In the arena where you fought Wan Jun, The Coppermaul.
#23 – Sha-Chi Amber Fragment
From the Sunset Path Bell, go up to where the Bayan Tree was and drop down to the nearby river. Follow the river down to the building at the end and use the Bashpole
#24 – Phantom Remedy (Medicine)
From the Battlefield Ruins Bell, break the floor with the Bashpole and it’ll be down the stairs.
#25 – Bell (Dovecote)
From the Main Encampment Gate Bell, break the floor with the Bashpole and follow the path into the camp. Go over the wall and up the hill on the left and you’ll see the bell to the right of the building.
#26 – Daughter of the Dark Sect (Tales)
From the Dovecote Bell, talk to the nearby woman.
#27 – Memory Flower
From the Dovecote Bell, go behind the building and it’ll be at the end.
#28 – Sha-Chi Amber Fragment
From the Dovecote Bell, enter the building and go up the ladder. Once you’re outside, climb onto the next platform and crouch through the hole on the left.
Daughter of the Dark Sect Objective
From the previous collectible, go back out of the building and go up the ladder and defeat Red, The Mysterious Swordswoman.
#29 – Memory Flower
From where you fought Red, The Mysterious Swordswoman, swing across the chain and use the Bashpole to break through the floor. Drop all the way down to where the shortcut is back to the Dovecote Bell, then go up the wooden stairs and follow the path to the end.
#30 – Bell (Three Towers)
From the previous collectible, go back to the top of the scaffolding and follow the path to the end. After dropping off the tower, it’ll be directly ahead.
#31 – Swordsman’s Summon (Phantom Edge)
Reward for defeating Chief Disciple of the Seven-Stars Formation.
#32 – Memory Flower
In the arena where you fought Chief Disciple of the Seven-Stars Formation.
#33 – Bell (Tower Rear Exit)
Beside the previous collectible.
Key Item – Moji’s House Key / Xue, Admirer of Heroes Objective 3
From the Tower Rear Exit Bell, follow the river and they’ll both be at the end. You can also open the door here, but don’t progress through the area for now.
Memory Flower Pre-requisite
Before progressing, it’s recommended to return to Pangzhen shortly to complete the “Pre-Second Visit Clean Up” section to progress The Undying Heroic Spirit Tale so you can get the Shattered “Hero’s Courage” to be able to collect certain Memory Flowers dropped by enemies. These Memory Flowers are quite buggy so it’s recommend not to kill them until you get this item.
#34 – Memory Flower
From Three Towers Bell, drop down on the left and hop over the fence. Go up the ramp on the right and follow the path to the friendly NPC that turns into an enemy, then defeat him.
#35 – Bell (Road to the Training Grounds) / Xue, Admirer of Heroes Objective 3
From the previous collectible, take the left path then grapple up the cliff. Climb the ladder then follow the path ahead. The item will also be next to the bell.
Missable Warning
Ignore entering the Training Grounds for now. While entering it is fine, defeating the boss at the end will fail the Secrets of the Baishan Sect Tale, so it’s best avoided altogether until progressing the tale.
Key Item – Guardian Idol Fragment: Torso
From the Road to the Training Grounds Bell, drop down and follow the road to the right, then enter the building on the left.
#36 – Nameless Thumb Ring (Accessory)
From the previous item, go upstairs and it’s in a chest.
#37 – Blackstone Fragment
From the previous collectible, exit the building across the bridge and go up the hill. Climb up the cliff on the left until you can get on top of the roof of the building you were just in and defeat the enemies.
#38 – Bell (Path of the Baishan’s Fall)
From the previous collectible go back to the hill and go up the staircase through the door. Follow the path forward and you’ll find the bell.
#39 – Sha-Chi Fragment
From the Path of the Baishan’s Fall Bell, go straight ahead and defeat the enemies who come out of the tree.
#40 – Memory Flower
From previous collectible, keep going forward and once you run across the wall, defeat the friendly NPC that turns into an enemy.
#41 – Bell (The Confinement)
From the previous collectible keep following the cliff ridge and it’ll be at the end of the platform.
#42 & #43 – Soft Snake Sword (Weapon) / Blackstone Fragment
Reward for defeating Wu Lengshuang, The Soft Sword.
#44 – Guardian Idol (Accessory)
In the arena where you fought Wu Lengshuang, The Soft Sword, by the tree you’ll find the Guardian Idol Fragment: Leg. If you’ve collected all 4 pieces, it’ll turn into the Guardian Idol.
Secrets of the Baishan Sect Objective
From the previous collectible, go up the stairs and interact with the body in the field of flowers.
#45 – Bell (Behind the Encampment Waterfall)
From the previous objective, keep following the path forward and you’ll drop down a cliff in front of the bell.
#46 & #47 – Memory Flower / Hero’s Courage (Tempering Material) – BUGGY
From the Behind the Encampment Waterfall Bell, go forward past the building on left and you’ll come across a large building ahead. Go behind the building and defeat the friendly NPC that turns into an enemy. If you’ve collected all 4 Memory Flowers related to these NPCs, you’ll also get the Hero’s Courage.
Bug warning: This enemy is prone to not dropping the Memory Flower when defeated, so making a backup save before fighting him is recommended. Reportedly defeating him before he fully turns into an enemy will make him more likely to drop it. If he doesn’t drop it, reload your backup save or the last autosave.
#48 – Sha-Chi Amber Fragment
From the previous collectible, go to the end of the dock and it’s in the chest.
#49 – Bell (Training Grounds)
From the Road to the Training Grounds Bell, drop down and unlock the door on the left and it’ll be directly ahead.
Missable Warning: Make sure you’ve completed Secrets of the Baishan Sect Objective BEFORE defeating the upcoming boss, or you’ll fail the Secrets of the Baishan Sect Tale.
#50 & #51 – Baishan Stormswords (Weapon) / Broken Vessel (Accessory)
Reward for defeating Yubi, No. 21 Swordfighter Puppet.
#52 – Memory Flower
From the arena where you fought Yubi, No. 21 Swordfighter Puppet, on the stairs to the right.
#53 – Memory Flower
From the previous collectible, continue up the stairs and it’ll be at the top.
Key Item – Illusory Pipa Backplate
From the arena where you fought Yubi, No. 21 Swordfighter Puppet, in the building.
#54 & #55 – Memory Flower / Lament Draught (Medicine)
From the previous item, go up stairs and they’ll both be by the balcony.
#56 – Bell (Training Grounds Depths)
From the previous collectible, go back downstairs and down the long hall.
The Herald’s Illusion Objective
From the Training Grounds Depths Bell, enter the portal. You can’t do anything here currently, you just need to enter it. You can return afterwards.
Clean Up Visits
The collectibles listed under here can only be obtained after certain story events, obtaining specific Phantom Edges, or obtaining specific items.

#57 – Enhanced Chainsaw (Tempering Material)
From the Behind the Encampment Waterfall Bell, follow the path ahead and return to the big building at the end. Enter the building and open the room on the right.
(Currently Missing: 1 Accessory/Medicine & 2 Memory Flowers)
