Phantom Blade Zero Village of Lu Collectible Locations

Village of Lu is the 3rd region in Phantom Blade Zero and contains 76 Collectible Locations. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in the Village of Lu Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Anything that is missable will be marked with a warning, everything else can be collected after the story in free-roam.

First Visit

Everything here can be obtained on your first visit to the location.

#1 – Bell (Place of Awakening)
Unlocks automatically.

#2 – Jewel’s Knot (Accessory)
In the chest directly behind Jewel.

#3 – Bell (Crossroads)
Down the hill from where Jewel is, on the left.

#4 – Bell (Mandate Encampment Outer Gate)
From the Crossroads Bell, follow the ridge ahead without dropping down, and you’ll find the bell in front of the locked gate.

#5 – Memory Flower
Directly beside the Mandate Encampment Outer Gate Bell.

#6 – Bell (Old Man Gen’s Hideout)
From the Crossroads Bell, drop down the cliff and follow the path ahead until you meet Old Man Gen. Go up the ladder to his house and the bell is directly ahead.

#7 – The Journey Home (Tales)
Talk to Old Man Gen near the Old Man Gen’s Hideout Bell.

#8 – Bell (Young Master Lan’s Hideout)
From Old man Gen’s Hideout Bell, go onto the bridge and drop down to the left, then climb up the wall where the puppets are clawing at. Follow the path to the small hideout.

#9 – Young Master Lan (Tales)
Talk to Young Master Lan near the Young Master Lan’s Hideout Bell.

#10 – Bastion (Phantom Edge)
Reward for defeating Zhou Bi, The Gatekeeper. Story-related.

#11 – Blackstone Fragment
In the chest in Zhou Bi, The Gatekeeper’s arena.

#12 – Memory Flower
From Zhou Bi, The Gatekeeper’s arena, enter the area to the left where the 2 little girl dolls are talking.

#13 – Young Mistress (Tales)
From Zhou Bi, The Gatekeeper’s arena, go forward through the gate and interact with the headband tied to the tree.

#14 – Bell (Well of the Three Puppets)
From the previous objective, cross the bridge and it’ll be on the left.

#15 – Memory Flower
From the Well of the Three Puppets Bell, drop down into the river and go to the right past the crying NPC. Jump over the log and kill the enemy in front of the chest to drop the collectible.

#16 – Sha-Chi Amber Fragment
From the previous collectible, go back and talk to the crying NPC after you defeated the enemy that dropped the previous collectible.

#17 – Memory Flower
Underneath the stone bridge in the river.

#18 – Bell (Temple of Blue Fireflies)
From the river, go up the hill and follow the left pathway. The bell will be right by the temple.

Young Mistress Objective 1
On the tree beside the Temple of Blue Fireflies Bell.

#19 – A Puppet’s Wooden Heart (Tales)
Talk to the Songstress Puppet by the small shrine.

#20 – Memory Flower
Inside the big shrine on the right.

#21 – Spirt-Returning Broth (Medicine)
From the Well of the Three Puppets Bell, go up the stairs to the left and take the first left you can take into a small courtyard. Climb into the building on the left and drop into the basement.

#22 – Mother’s Talisman (Accessory)
From the previous collectible, go back to the stairs and continue up. Enter the building at the top and defeat the enemy inside.

#23 – Wedding Candles (Treasure)
In the same building, go up the ladder and go through the second floor to the chest at the end.

#24 – Bell (Covered Bridge)
From the previous collectible, drop out of the building and follow the path ahead.

#25 – Memory Flower
From the Covered Bridge Bell, go through the gate behind you and follow the path into the field. The collectible is in the building.

#26 – Bell (Zhang’s Hideout (Village of Lu))
From the previous collectible, drop down into the river on the right and follow the cave.

Once you make it through the cave, it’ll be directly ahead.

#27 – Blackstone Fragment
From the previous collectible, break the barricade on the left and defeat the enemy by the tree to destroy the thread barricade near the Covered Bridge Bell. The collectible will also be in the coffin by the tree.

#28 – Bell (Black Serpent House)
From the previous collectible, go through the red shrine area opposite of the tree and follow the path until you walk through a building. The bell will be directly ahead afterwards.

#29 – Forbidden Concoction (Medicine)
From the Black Serpent House Bell, go back into the house and up the ladder. The collectible will be directly ahead on the cabinet.

Young Mistress Objective 2
From the Covered Bridge Bell, go through the newly opened thread barrier and half way across the bridge it’ll be tied to a post.

#30 & #31 – Memory Flower / Sha-Chi Amber Fragment
From the previous objective, continue crossing the bridge and once you reach the fork, go to the right. Enter the building and go down the ladder, then back out onto the cliff.

#32 – Bell (Statue Grounds Entrance)
From the previous collectible, go back into the small courtyard and then up the stairs.

#33 – Tianxuan Bronze Sword (Weapon)
Reward for defeating Master Bi Yuan of the Tianxuan Sect. Story-related.

#34 – Bell (The Lady Grounds) / Young Mistress Objective 3
In the arena where you fought Master Bi Yuan of the Tianxuan Sect. You’ll also get the headband from resting at this bell.

#35 – Memory Flower
Directly beside The Lady Grounds Bell.

#36 – Unveiled Statue (Treasure)
From The Lady Grounds Bell, enter the house behind you and climb up the hill to where all the statues are.

#37 – Memory Flower
From the previous collectible, go into the next building and drop down to the first floor and it’ll be directly ahead.

#38 – Bell (Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar)
From the previous collectible, follow the path until going past the group of enemies. After going through the small gate, go to the right and it’ll be at the top of the stairs.

#39 – Livingwood Talisman (Accessory)
From the Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar Bell, go back the way you came and drop down into the courtyard. Go straight ahead and drop down into the next small area and enter the house.

#40 – Bell (Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance)
From the previous collectible, enter the small tunnel and jump over the wooden wall, then continue going through the area until you reach the bell.

#41 – Arrowward (Accessory) – MISSABLE
Tal to the Wounded Thief by the door and give him the Thief’s Manual. If you don’t have it, you can return to the Crimson Forest to get it.

It is unknown what exactly triggers it, but the thief will eventually die when progressing too far into the region, meaning you cannot give him the Thief’s Manual. Because of this, it’s best to complete this as soon as possible.

#42 – Kuye Temple Prayer Beads (Phantom Edge)
Reward for defeating Master Bi Hai of Kuye Temple. Story-related.

#43 – Memory Flower
In the same arena where you fought Master Bi Hai of Kuye Temple.

#44 – Blackstone Fragment
From the previous collectible, in the chest slightly up the river.

#45 – Memory Flower
From the previous collectible continue to the end of the river and it’ll be on the rock.

#46 – Bell (Terraces)
From the previous collectible, go back onto the bridge and follow the path up the stairs and the bell will be directly ahead.

#47 – Memory Flower
From the Terraces Bell, enter the building on the right and it’ll be on the table.

#48 Scarecrow (Challenge Location)
From the previous collectible continue through the area and then drop down to where the scarecrow is and interact with it to fight Acolyte Yanru, who will give you Yanru’s Blazing Mask upon defeat.

#49 – Bell (Engine Giant Remains)
Continue up the Terraces path and the bell will be by the giant building.

#50 – Memory Flower
From the Engine Giant Remains Bell, enter the building and you’ll see a statue attacking a monster. Attack the statue until you defeat it and it’ll drop the it.

#51 – Memory Flower
From the previous collectible, drop down into the cave and follow it forward. The memory flower will be by the zipline.

#52 – Bell (Survivors’ Courtyard)
From the previous collectible, go down the zipline and defeat the enemies. Afterwards, interact with the nearby door where the people are talking and they’ll let you in where the bell is.

#53 – Agarwood Prayer Beads (Accessory)
Talk to the Stately Monk and give him the Prayer Beads. If you don’t have it, you can return to the Weeping Creek Valley to get it.

A Puppet’s Wooden Heart Objective 1
Talk to the man in the purple robes to give him the Puppet Songstresses letter.

#54 – Sha-Chi Amber Fragment
From the Survivors’ Courtyard Bell, exit the area and go up to the building on the right. Before entering it, walk onto the platform on the left and you’ll see a chest on the left.

#55 – Dahuang (Tales)
From the previous collectible, enter the building and talk to the NPC on the bed.

#56 – Memory Flower
Exit back to the courtyard and go down the stairs. Turn around and you’ll see the collectible by the cave entrance.

#57 – White Jade Twins (Treasure)
From the previous collectible, drop down into the cave and it’ll be in the chest.

#58 – Fine Thread (Accessory)
After having collected all 3 treasures, return to the Zhang’s Hideout (Village of Lu) Bell and talk to Quick Hand Zhang.

A Puppet’s Wooden Heart Objective 2
Backtrack to the Engine Giant Remains Bell and interact with Pei’s corpse down in the in the fields by the campfire

#59 – A Puppet’s Wooden Heart (Accessory)
Go to the Temple of Blue Fireflies Bell and interact with the Puppet Songstress after completing the previous objective.

#60 – Bell (Broken Puppet Pit Entrance)
From the Temple of Blue Fireflies Bell, go through the fog in the shrine, which requires collecting all 6 of the Fireflies Memory Flowers to open. Follow the path ahead and the bell will be by the angler.

#61 – Puppeteer’s Bell (Phantom Edge)
Drop down into the ravine by the angler and defeat Dusk, The Puppeteer.

#62 – Bell (Broken Puppet Pit Bottom)
In the arena where you fought Dusk, The Puppeteer.

#63 – Memory Flower
From the Well of the Three Puppets Bell, the thread barrier on the well should be opened now, so you can go down. Once you land, it’ll be directly ahead.

#64 – Bell (Beneath the Well)
Just past the previous collectible.

Young Mistress Objective 4
From the Beneath the Well Bell, walk into the open area and it’ll be on a post on the bridge.

#65 – Heartrend Pipa (Phantom Edge)
Reward for defeating Yuzan, No. 3 Musician Puppet. Story-related.

#66 – Bell (Puppet Testing Grounds)
In the arena where you fought Yuzan, No. 3 Musician Puppet.

#67 – Cui (Tales)
From the Puppet Testing Grounds, talk to the crying child puppet.

The Herald’s Illusion Objective
From the Puppet Testing Grounds Bell, enter the open area on the left and go through the portal. You can’t do anything here currently, you just need to enter it. You can return afterwards.

Missable Warning
Before progressing up the elevator to this regions final boss, make sure you’ve completed the Young Mistress Tale first. If you don’t, you won’t fight the third phase of the boss and get the additional rewards.

#68 – Fiend Saws (Weapon) / Fist Fragment: Core (Key Item) – MISSABLE
Reward for defeating Mu Xiaokui, Young Mistress of the Order, as long as you’ve completed the Young Mistress tale.

#69 – Wild Oriole Sword (Weapon ) – MISSABLE
Will be directly ahead of you on the dock after defeating Mu Xiaokui. Make sure you pick it up as once you leave the area the elevator breaks down and you can’t go back up.

Key Item – Old Man Gen’s Brass Key
After unlocking the smugglers tunnel by the Puppet Testing Grounds Bell, return to Old Man Gen and accept his next request.

Young Master Lan Objective
After unlocking the smugglers tunnel by the Puppet Testing Grounds Bell, return to Young Master Lan.

#70 – Blackstone Fragment
From the Puppet Testing Grounds Bell, head into the smugglers tunnel and it’ll be behind the enemy that unlocks the thread barrier.

Key Item – Tunnel Cage Key
On a table in the same room as the previous collectible.

Key Item – Village of Lu Cellar Key
Keep progressing through the area and once you reach the stairs, unlock the door on the right with the Tunnel Cage Key you just found and talk to the Trapped Thief.

#71 – Bell (Hidden Passage to Pangzhen)
From the previous item, go up the stairs and take the elevator up. The bell will be directly ahead on.

#72 – Remnant Spark Cage (Accessory)
Go to the Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar Bell and use the Village of Lu Cellar Key to unlock the door. It’ll be in a chest in the cellar.

Clean Up Visits

The collectibles listed under here can only be obtained after certain story events, obtaining specific Phantom Edges, or obtaining specific items.

Phantom Edge Required: Flaming Mane

From the Black Serpent House Bell, burn the branches on the hill, then enter the building ahead.

Key Item – Loong Emblem (Yang)
In the same room, on the left side.

#73 – Reinforced Bowstring (Tempering Material) / Key Item – Serpent Venom Sec: Black
In the same room, on the right side.

Item Required: Mandate Encampment Outer Gate Key

Mandate Encampment Region Unlock
From the Mandate Encampment Outer Gate Bell, unlock the gate. This will give you access to the optional region, Mandate Encampment.

Phantom Edge Required: Bashpole

#74 – Border Banner (Tempering Material)
From the Young Master Lan’s Hideout Bell, go to the right and you’ll see a crack in the ground you can break with the Bashpole. The material will be in a chest inside.
