Available during first Playthrough

Golden Spatula (Algae Jungle checkpoint): shortly after the beginning of the level, you’ll get to an area filled with lava where you’ll have to use jumping pads to make it across. You can find this golden spatula atop one of the jumping pads. You can get to it by gliding from the middle platform. This Golden Spatula is hard to miss.

Coin 1 (Volcano Slide checkpoint): during the sliding section, you’ll get to a point where you’ll see a jumping bad on your right. Time your jump so you land on this lifebuoy and at the end of the sliding side path is this coin.

Spot Location (Cave Painting Cave checkpoint): as soon as you get to the shape puzzle at the end of the level, check behind you.

Coin 2 (Cave Painting Cave checkpoint): still in the puzzle room, check behind the stone chair with the heart.

Available only in second Playthrough

Hot Object 1 (Stalactite Cave checkpoint): start of the level during the ravine chasing section, flank the left side and you’ll run into it.

Coin 3 (Algae Jungle checkpoint): a bit after the start of the level, you’ll get to an area with a big trunk in the lava with some Jellies on it. Drop down here, collect the Jellies, and then look down for a platform. Here, turn around to spot a purple hoverboard switch. Press it and start the race. Finish it in time to collect this Coin.

Coin 4 (Sleeping Dorudon checkpoint): after reaching the stranded whale, go past it as intended and before going through the dark tunnel, check the left side for a hook leading to a Reef Blower switch. Press the switch and glide through the rings that spawn to reach two platforms with some enemies to suck. Once the gauge is full, return to where the switch was, shoot the purple goo barrier and get the coin.

Hot Object 2 (Volcano Slide checkpoint): during the sliding section, you’ll get to a point with a big lifebuoy jumping pad and a glide boost ring on your left. Use it to get to the Hot Object hanging in mid air.

Hot Object 3 (Lava Cave checkpoint): this is in your path during the section where you have to jump your way through the moving platform on lava. Hard to miss.

Hot Object 4 (Lava Cave checkpoint): shortly after, during the boulder riding section, above a lava geyser.

Hot Object 5 (Lava Cave checkpoint): same section as Hot Object 4. When you get to the second geyser in this riding section, stand on top of the geyser and wait for it to boost you up. You’ll then land on it.
