Geared Up: Forgefire is an Errand in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds DLC. This walkthrough shows how to complete the quest.

Objectives:
- Gather a Bellowback Snout
- Return to Varga
After completing Into the Frozen Wilds, Burgrends daughter Varga will offer you three different errands to upgrade the three new weapons of this DLC – the Forgefire, the Stormslinger and the Icerail. In order to upgrade the weapon you obviously have to obtain it first – the Forgefire can be looted from the boss of the Bandit Camp.
For this weapon, you will need a Bellowback Snout – either a Fire or Ice Bellowback ones. The game wants you to travel quite a bit outside the Cut, but there is an area close-by with a few roaming Ice Bellowback’s.
This errand is super-easy – just (fast)-travel over to the location, kill one of the Bellowbacks and loot it for the component.
Now, just simply return to Varga who is waiting in Longnotch and she will upgrade the Forgefire for you. That’s it.

So I’ve got an improved forgefore and stormslinger. it let me get an adopt icerail. but I’m still 2 errands short of the 100 percent completion because this was a new game plus. and redid the quest. but it seems to not be responding.

I have the Adept Icerail, but I can not find anyone selling adept FireForge or Adept Sormslinger, nor can I find any quest offering them. I did find one mention (but do not know where) of short term EVENTS which gave you the second two Adept weapons. But both of those were over before the game got on PC.
Does anyone have any information as to other ways to acquire those weapons or if the events will repeat?
