Geared Up: Icerail is an Errand in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds DLC. This walkthrough shows how to complete the quest.

Objectives:
- Meet Varga at the Thunderjaw site
- Gather a Thunderjaw Mandible
- Return to Varga
After completing Into the Frozen Wilds, Burgrends daughter Varga will offer you three different errands to upgrade the three new weapons of this DLC – the Forgefire, the Stormslinger and the Icerail. In order to upgrade the weapon you obviously have to obtain it first – the Icerail is a reward for finishing the quest For the Werak.
The machine we have to hunt for this upgrade is not found in the cut. Use the fast-travel to get to the Thunderjaw-location and speak to Varga there. You probably the Thunderjaw roaming the area before seeing Varga, though. Once you have talked to her, use the weapons you like to take him down – explosive sling-bombs seem to work fine.
When the big machine met its maker, loot it to get the component Varga requires to upgrade your Icerail.
Once you got the part, simply return to Varga, who is waiting nearby to give your Icerail an overhaul. This will also conclude the errand.
