Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Trophy Roadmap

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 8/10
  • Approximate amount of time to platinum: 100 Hours+
  • Total Trophies: 53 (1trophy, 1trophy, 7trophy, 44trophy)
  • Offline Trophies: 1 (1trophy) – Zombie 101
  • Online Trophies: 52 (1trophy, 1trophy, 7trophy, 44trophy)
  • Number of missable trophies: 0
  • Glitched trophies: A lot of the zombies trophies can be glitchy, but there’s an easy fix: change the difficulty in classic mode and redo the trophy. The Specialist HQ trophies are also glitched.
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No, you can earn all zombie trophies on casual difficulty (easy).
  • Minimum Playthroughs: 10 Specialist Tutorials, 30 Specialist Skirmishes, lots of Zombies Playthroughs and grinding weapon levels, lots of Multiplayer and lots of Blackout. There’s no Story Mode.

Introduction

Welcome to the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Trophy Guide (COD BO4)! This year Call of Duty comes with 4 Game Modes: Specialist HQ, Multiplayer, Blackout (Battle Royale), Zombies. There’s no story mode this time around. Each mode has some trophies but the most are from zombies. There are also 3 zombie maps in the main game and there’s an additional DLC map “Classified” but that’s not needed for platinum. It doesn’t matter in what order you play the zombie maps or in what order you play the modes. The below roadmap is really just a quick overview of modes, you can switch out the order to your liking.

Mode 1: Specialist HQ

To get an overview of all Specialists in the game, start with the 5 Specialist HQ trophies: Centennial, MP 101, Skirmisher, Sleuth, Stargazer.

In the title screen after booting up the game, on the left side you can click on “Specialist HQ” > “Specialists” > Pick a Specialist > Click “Continue” to start their introductory onboarding mission > complete this mission to unlock skirmishes for that Specialist > Win 3 Skirmishes with that Class (Recruit, Regular, Veteran) > Repeat for all 10 Specialist Classes.

You must do 3 Skirmishes with each class for the Centennial trophy (get all stars). Also check out the description for trophy “Sleuth” so you can work on the requirements to unlock all intel and audio files in this mode.

Mode 2: Zombie Mode

How to Unlock Trophies in Zombies: Trophies can only be earned in Online Solo & Online Co-Op. You cannot unlock any trophies in custom game! I couldn’t earn any trophies offline either.

Go to Main Menu > Click on the Word “Zombies” > Click the colored Map Image in bottom right corner > Press :r1: to switch to Classic Mode (=Solo) > Select a Difficulty (Casual works for trophies!) > Select a Map > Press :x: to Select > Press on Solo Match in bottom right corner OR press :triangle: to invite friends.

If you want to play a Public Match with random players, instead of going to Classic Mode, choose Public and pick IX, Voyage of Despair, Aether (Blood of the Dead). Then it will search for random people online to join you.

You can unlock trophies, except the easter eggs on each map, on Casual Difficulty (=easy) and even enable bots in solo games! Yes, playing with bots does unlock trophies, but for Easter Eggs you’ll want to play with a group of friends on Normal Difficulty. Doing the Zombie Easter Eggs on Casual may not unlock their respective trophy so make sure you’re on Normal for this. Everything else you can do on Casual.

For these 3 trophies you must play Rush: Multiplicitous, High Score, Team Player. Most of the other trophies are only possible in Classic / Public Matches.

The only trophy that unlocks offline is Zombie 101 for doing the Zombies Tutorial. Everything else requires you to be connected to the online services.

There are 3 Maps in Zombies: Voyage of Despair (Ship), IX (Arena), Blood of the Dead (Prison). You’ll have to do the easter egg on every map. The DLC Map “Classified” is not needed for platinum but is available separately or as part of the season pass.

A Word on Custom Games: Custom Games don’t unlock trophies, but you can go in the options and give yourself 50,000 starting points and lots of health, and put zombie maximum speed to walking pace. This is great of practicing easter egg steps, exploring the map, learning how to get the Pack-a-Punch on every map etc. It’s a good start to get to know the game but other than that won’t help in your pursuit for trophies. You don’t earn XP in custom games either! Only online play counts.

Fixing Glitched Zombie Trophies: Like every year, Zombie Mode has lots of glitchy trophies. If a trophy glitches, your best bet is to redo it on another difficulty. If you’re playing on Casual, redo a trophy on Normal difficulty. If you were playing on Normal, redo it on Casual. If that doesn’t help, try switching between solo, co-op with a friend, and public co-op. It’s not a 100% sure solution but it can help fix things. E.g. I had to do the trophy “Trialling Experience” more than 15 times before it finally popped. The glitches are not specific to one trophy, rather it can affect any zombies trophy at random. Do remember that easter egg trophies should be done on Normal difficulty, they don’t seem to unlock on Casual at all.

Mode 3: Multiplayer

The Multiplayer has the least trophies of all modes. This is fairly straightforward. You get XP for every match and level up until you reach level 55. The rest will come along the way.

Mode 4: Blackout (Battle Royale)

This is the new online “Battle Royale” mode. You are dropped on a huge open world map with 100 players. You go in buildings to find random weapons and resources. The goal is to be the last player standing. You must also stay in the safe zone or else you will die. The safe zone gets smaller as the game progresses, thus forcing players to meet in the middle and inevitably encountering the opponent. You only have 1 life, there are no respawns. If you die you must search for a new match.

My Home is the Arena
In IX, survive to Round 20 without opening a gate

In IX, you are not allowed to open any doors at all. You have to stay in the starting area (the arena). The tricky part is that you only have 2 very weak weapons in the starting zone. The good news is that it’s a large open area and you can run in circles. Don’t play with bots for this as they would open the doors and thus void the trophy. Either do it solo or with a group of friends who know not to touch the doors. This one is the hardest of the “survive to round 20” trophies.

Do note that you can put the difficulty to “casual” (=easy) for this. You change the difficulty where you select the zombie maps in classic mode (not available in custom match).

Also make good use of your Specialist Weapon. Under “Create a Class” before the match, pick the Scepter of Ra. It’s a ranged weapon that shoots an energy beam. Press :l1: + :r1: to activate it once it’s charged. Then press :r2: to use the beam. Keep this for higher rounds against minibosses. It kills them very quickly and slows down surrounding enemies. The green Elixir “Head Scan” is also good as it can make your headshots do insta-kills (great for higher rounds).

The trophy pops at the start of round 20 (you don’t have to complete round 20).

Venerated Warrior
In IX, defeat the most venerated opponent
Skilled Adversary
In IX have a Challenge banner with all 9 medallions
In the starting area of IX there are some banners around the arena, on the side of the arena. There’s a rope on each banner. Cut one of them with :r3: and it will trigger a series of challenges. The requirements are random each match but it’s basic things like “melee kill 13 zombies”. Each time you completed a challenge, return to the middle of the arena. There you must interact with an altar. Just keep doing this until you did 9 challenges (in one match).
The Slaughterhouse
In IX, dismember 13 limbs in a single game while in The Pit

On the IX map go to the area called “The Pit” (as is shown in the top left corner of the screen). It’s in the underground tomb area after the Fallen Hero statue. Simply follow the video to the exact point. Once there, kill zombies in the pit until the trophy pops. Don’t do headshots, instead shoot their bodies to make limbs fly off. You can get to the pit at any time, there are no special requirements or easter egg steps needed. Just open the doors leading there.

Gong like the Wind
In IX, defeat all 8 challengers summoned by a gong within 5 minutes

Within 5 minutes after starting a match, you must interact with all 4 gongs around the map and defeat the bosses that spawn from them (4 tigers, 2 knights, 1 berserker, 1 knight).

The gongs are always in the same place but it’s random what gong spawns what enemy. Most importantly, the time for this starts to count as soon as the match starts! Not just after killing the first challenger.

So you have only 5 minutes for the entire match to open all doors leading to the challengers and to defeat them. Time on this is very tight and extremely hard solo, but much easier with 4 people.

Be sure to play in classic mode on casual difficulty (=easy) and with at least 2 players in co-op (4 is better). With 4 players everyone starts with 500 points so your combined starting cash is bigger to open up doors. You can have 1 player use their special weapon at each boss, which kills them super fast.

Below is the recommended order.

Champ #1: Danu Altar Room
Path: ARENA > DANU TOWER: ENTRANCE > DANU ALTAR ROOM.

Champ #2: Ra Altar Room
Path: DANU ALTAR ROOM > RA ALTAR ROOM.

Champ #3: Zeus Altar Room
Path: RA ALTAR ROOM > DANU ALTAR ROOM > DANU TOWER: ENTRANCE > DANU TUNNEL > FLOODED CRYPT > THE CRYPTS > THE CURSED ROOM > ZEUS TOWER: BATH HOUSE > ZEUS TOWER: ENTRANCE > ZEUS ALTAR ROOM.

Champ #4: Odin Altar Room
Path: ZEUGS ALTAR ROOM > ODIN ALTAR ROOM.

Gift of Serket
In IX, acquire Serket’s Kiss
Here Kitty, Kitty
In IX, Kill a Zombie Tiger with a Brain Rotted Tiger
First, you must unlock the Pack-a-Punch Machine. See: How to Unlock Pack-a-Punch on IX.

Keep pack-a-punching your weapon until it gets the elemental effect “BrainRot”. You get elemental effects by pack-a-punching your weapon more than once (costs 2500 points). Each time you do this it changes the elemental effect. It shows the elemental name above your weapon. The one you want has a green icon and is called “BrainRot”. It does turn zombies green and they start attacking other zombies so it’s like recruiting a zombie to fight for you.

Now you just need some tigers. These can spawn randomly in the middle of higher rounds and there are some tiger-only rounds (round 9+) so keep playing until they show up. It’s best that you play solo for this so that nobody else kills the tigers. You need some luck that the elemental weapon effect triggers! Unfortunately, this is random and you may have to kill lots of tigers until one of them gets affected by the BrainRot. Once this has worked, you will see the tiger attacking other enemies. You then need to get lucky once more that the tiger kills another tiger! It’s easiest in tiger-only rounds where no other enemies spawn.

It’s largely a luck-based trophy. Just keep playing until high rounds and make sure all your weapons have the BrainRot element on them (by repunching them again and again until you get the correct elemental effect). It may take you till round 30+ or even longer to turn a tiger. Eventually this should unlock naturally if you play for long enough.

Bonus Tip: In the starting area (arena) cut the ropes from the banners at the side of the arena. This gives you 9 challenges. After completing 3 challenges it unlocks a punched pistol in the middle of the arena. You only need to punch this once more for an elemental effect. This one works well to turn a tiger early in tiger-only rounds (and you only need to punch it once for 2500 because it’s already punched).

Acidic Alchemy
In IX, Get a kill with the Acid Trap in each of its craftable locations
Constellation Prize
In IX, kill 9 zombies with a single uncharged shot from the Death of Orion
Abandon Ship
In Voyage of Despair, complete the Trial
Off the Deep End
In Voyage of Despair, survive to round 20 without draining the water
This is the easiest “survive to round 20” trophy of all maps. You are allowed to open up the entire map and even pack-a-punch your weapons and get all perks! You just can’t use the water wheels in the flooded sections of Turbine Room and Cargo Room (the areas below the ship decks on either end of the ship). You can only reach these areas after picking up the Sentinel Artifact anyway.

The map is quite large and you have lots of room to run and lots of weapons to buy. You can put the difficulty on casual (=easy) and even add bots or play with friends! With bots this is super easy and they will do all of the work.

The trophy pops at the start of round 20 (you don’t have to complete round 20).

A Little Pack Here, a Little Punch There
In Voyage of Despair, use the Pack-a-Punch at every possible location in a single game

First you must unlock the Pack-a-Punch. See How to Unlock Pack-a-Punch in Voyage of Despair.

Now you must use it at all 4 locations: Poop Deck, Turbine Room, The Grand Staircase, Cargo Hold. The PaP changes its position every 2-4 rounds. It’s not tied to how often you have used it, just based on rounds. It’s totally random in which of the 4 spots the PaP will show up next. When it goes away it leaves behind and altar that shows the new spawn point. If you unlock the PaP early you will be done before round 20.

Re-punching a weapon for 2500 points is enough. It’s just important that you use the Pack a Punch machine at all 4 locations (means spending money on it to punch a weapon). But it doesn’t matter if you repunch for 2500 or punch a new weapon for 5000.

Rock, Paper, Plasma
In Voyage of Despair, kill 9 zombies via Catalytic Detonations in a single game
Catalytic Detonations are triggered by killing red lava zombies and making them blow up, thus causing a huge explosion. These elemental zombies start spawning more frequently in higher rounds (20+). This will unlock naturally as you play to higher rounds because you will have to kill lots of these zombies. You don’t have to kill 9 at once, just 9 in total across the entire match.

For me it unlocked in round 24 on casual difficulty in a co-op session.

I Know a Shortcut
In Voyage of Despair, take every fast travel path in a single game
First, you must retrieve the Sentinel Artifact in Voyage of Despair by reaching the other end of the ship. See How to Get Sentinel Artifact.

Once you have the artifact it unlocks all fast travel portals around the map. They are red glowing portals and cost 500 points to use.

Fast Travel Paths:

  • Forecastle –> Poop Deck
  • Poop Deck –> Forecastle
  • Millionaire’s Suite –> Provisions
  • Turbine –> Cargo
  • Cargo –> Boiler Room
  • Boiler Room –> Grand Staircase
  • Boiler Room –> Boat Deck
  • Ship Deck –> Engine Room

For reference of where each area is, check out the Voyage of Despair Map below (click to enlarge):

Stoking the Flames
In Voyage of Despair, kill 3 Stokers via weak-point in a single round
Stowaway
In Voyage of Despair, spend 5 consecutive rounds in the Cargo Hold
The Cargo Hold is the area below the starting area. First, you must retrieve the Sentinel Artifact to make the red seals on doors go away. See How to Get Sentinel Artifact.

You can get the artifact quite early in round 4-5. Get it as soon as you can so that you have low-level rounds in the Cargo Hold.

See the red circle on the Voyage of Despair Map below for Cargo Hold location:

You must survive 5 full rounds in a row from start to end in this area without leaving! If you leave, the count resets and you must survive another 5 rounds. It’s a flooded area. I recommend combining this with “Swimming with the Fishes”. You can drain the water by using the water wheel to the right of the altar. Personally, I kept the area flooded because it slows down zombies. You can also put the difficulty on casual (=easy) for this (in map select of classic mode before matches, not available in custom game). Remember, the round you get there won’t count because you have visited other areas in that round already. It only counts when you’re in the area at the time the round starts and ends and they must be consecutive rounds. There is a Machine Gun wall-weapon in the area which is one of the best on the map and makes this quite easy.

Swimming with the Fishes
In Voyage of Despair, kill 50 zombies that are underwater in a single game
First, you must get the Sentinel Artifact by reaching the other side of the ship in Voyage of Despair. See How to Get Sentinel Artifact.

Getting the Artifact removes the red seals from doors and opens up the entire map.
Next, go to either the Turbine Room or Cargo Hold. I recommend pairing this with the trophy “Stowaway” for surviving 5 rounds in the cargo hold. Both of these areas are flooded, see the map below for the locations (circled in red):

West Side for Life
In Blood of the Dead, reach Round 20 without leaving the West Side of the island
In Blood of the Dead, you must reach Round 20 in the starting region before going over the Catwalk. You can open up doors in the starting area but you can’t go through the door that requires power to be turned on. It will lead over a long catwalk to the other side of the island. So make sure you don’t go over the catwalk!

It’s harder than surviving 20 rounds on Voyage of Despair but easier than surviving 20 on IX. Overall you have plenty of room to run. You should play on casual (=easy) difficulty for this. The difficulty can be picked in map select of classic mode (not available in custom match). You can even play with bots or friends. With bots this is very easy, they do all the work for you.

The trophy pops at the start of round 20 (you don’t have to complete round 20).

Kraken Unfettered
In Voyage of Despair, kill 9 enemies with a single shot of the Kraken
The Kraken is the Wonder Weapon in Voyage of Despair. It’s only available from the Mystery Box! Check for a blue beam of light in the sky, it signals the Mystery Box location. Also check the ship map for a red dot, this as well indicates where the mystery box currently is (it changes places after a few uses).

Getting the Kraken from the Mystery Box is completely random. Each Mystery Box use costs 950 points. It could take 10 tries or it could take 50 tries (or more). When you have the weapon, train 9 zombies so they’re running in a line and use the Kraken on them. In higher rounds you should wait for an Instat-Kill powerup to drop, then the Kraken will kill all enemies in one shot. In lower rounds it doesn’t require Insta-Kill.

You can combine this with “Straw Purchase” trophy.

Multiplicitous
In Zombie Rush, get your score multiplier up to 100
Zombie Rush is a new arcade mode and the goal is to build up points by killing zombies without being hit. Go to Zombies > click the colored map icon in bottom right corner > Rush.

Getting a 100 multiplier requires you to not get hit while continuously killing zombies. You can use traps to your advantage. The special weapon “Overkill” (a gatling gun) can be equipped in “Create a Class” before matches and is super awesome for this mode.

Weapon purchases and ammo refills are completely free in this mode! You can pick any weapon from walls. The pack-a-punch is also much easier to unlock. It doesn’t really matter on what map you do this, pick which one you like best.

High Score
In Zombie Rush, obtain a Personal Score of 250,000
Zombie Rush is a new arcade mode and the goal is to build up points by killing zombies without being hit. Go to Zombies > click the colored map icon in bottom right corner > Rush (Solo Match).

Play Solo and rack up 250,000 points. The trophy pops instantly when the score is reached (score is in bottom left corner of screen). You have multiple self-revives in this mode but zombies are more aggressive.

Team Player
In Zombie Rush, obtain a Team Score of 500,000
Zombie Rush is a new arcade mode and the goal is to build up points by killing zombies without being hit. Go to Zombies > click the colored map icon in bottom right corner > Public > Rush.

You need to play with others online (in a team) and have all players get a combined 500,000 points together. So if you’re 4 players and each one gets 125,000 points this will unlock. The trophy pops instantly when the score is reached (score is in bottom left corner of screen). You have multiple self-revives in this mode but zombies are more aggressive.

Trialling Experience
In Voyage of Despair, acquire the Sentinel Artifact

–> Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Zombies: Voyage of Despair – How to Get Sentinel Artifact.

Gat Trick
In Blood of the Dead, kill the Warden with the Blundergat, Acidgat, and Magmagat in a single game
Historical Reenactment
In Blood of the Dead, equip Hell’s Retriever, Spoon, Blundergat, and Tommy Gun at the same time
Hot Stuff Coming Through
In Blood of the Dead, forge a Magmagat
Match Made in Hell
In Blood of the Dead, complete a Gondola ride with the Warden
The first step is to turn on power on the entire map Blood of the Dead (both Power Switches). This also makes the warden spawn in front of the second power switch.

See Blood of the Dead – How to Turn on the Power.

The warden spawns instantly after activating the 2nd power switch in Building 64 (as seen at the end of the video). But don’t kill him yet! Instead, you must lead him outside to the Gondola. Then make him go in the Gondole with you and reach the end of the ride with him in there. You have a self-revive by default so if you go down it’s no problem, just revive yourself.

Most Escape Alive
In Blood of the Dead, escape
Paranormal Patch Up
In Blood of the Dead, revive another Player with a shield
First, you must build the Shield, see Blood of the Dead: How to Build the Shield.

You must also get the Warden’s key! This is dropped by The Warden miniboss. The Warden spawns usually between rounds 4-8 so just keep playing until he shows up. Alternatively, he also spawns at the second power switch when you turn on the power on the entire island. Either method is fine, you just have to kill him to make him drop his blue key, and pick it up.

After you built the shield and got the Warden’s key, press :l1: to use the shield and :r2: to use the key on zombies. It will drain energy from zombies to the shield. Do this to 3 zombies to charge up the shield. Now let another player go down, equip the shield and press :l2: + :r2: to shoot a blue blast wave at the player. This instantly revives the player. If you can’t shoot the blast it means you need to use the Warden’s key on more zombies to power it up.

Senseless Axe of Violence
In Blood of the Dead, kill 5 zombies with the Hell’s Redeemer before it starts its return
Throw a Dog a Bone
In Blood of the Dead, feed a wolf head from the Gondola, Citadel, and Model Industries in a single game
On the Blood of the Dead Map, you can find orange Wolf-Icons around the map on walls. When you kill a zombie near them, a Wolf head spawns and eats dead zombies. It takes 6 kills to feed the Wolf Head and then it goes away and can be summoned at the next location.

This trophy adds a twist! Instead of just feeding the wolf head, you have to shoot the zombies from a totally different place and then the wolf has to eat the bodies. You must get a buddy to help you out in co-op with this. Your friend can train the zombies while you shoot them from the required spot. To make sure it’s counted correctly, do 5 kills near the wolf first and make the 6th final kill from the required position further away. If you do the final kill from the trophy-relevant spot it will definitely count.

These are the wolf head spawns (left images) and the points from where you must shoot a zombie (right image):

Wolf: New Industries // Shooting Location: Model Industries
This spot is in the starting area, before turning on the power.

Wolf: Cell Block 2nd Floor // Shooting Location: Citadel
This is inside the prison on the way to the 2nd power switch. The Citadel spot from where you shoot is in the underground tunnels that lead to the second power switch.

Wolf: Eagle Plaza // Shoot Location: Gondola (must be moving, not stationary)
After fully turning on the power on the entire map (two power switches), you can go through the prison to the Warden’s house. The wolf head is there. Now your friend needs to train the zombies while you ride the Gondola and kill a zombie. The Gondola must be moving for it to count! You can see in the top left corner of your screen that the name changes from “Upper Gondola Platform” to just “Gondola”, which is the one you need for it to count.

Zombies 101
Complete the Zombies Tutorial
Go to Zombie Mode > click the colored map icon in bottom right corner > Tutorial > Beginner Tutorial.

After doing the Beginner Tutorial the Advanced Tutorial triggers automatically right away. You must complete both of them to get the trophy (because the advanced one triggers automatically, it feels like one tutorial).

Jack of All Blades, Master of Guns
Level up all 8 Special Weapons to Stage 3
The Doctor is In
Use PhD Slider to fall 10 feet and kill 10 zombies at once
PhD Slider is a Perk in Zombies Mode that unlocks at Zombie Level 42. You can select it in “Create a Class” before Zombie Matches.

You’ll have to use the perk to slide of a point at least 3 meters high, crash down and kill 10 zombies standing below you. Best way to do it is to get another player who attracts the zombies for you. Then you just do the slide and crash into the crowd.

Perkaholic Relapse
Acquire every perk in a single game
Before a Zombies match, go into “Create a Class” and pick the Perk “Secret Sauce” and 3 other perks. Start the match and buy the 3 pre-selected perks and then keep buying the Secret Sauce Perk. It gives you one random perk each time! It will take a while to get enough points so just keep playing to higher rounds and keep buying the Secret Sauce.

Don’t get killed as it will reset your perks. It’s best to do this on casual difficulty on whichever map you like best.

Straw Purchase
Gift a Mystery Box Wonder Weapon to a teammate and have them accept it
Play in Co-Op or Public Match and find the mystery box on a map and get lucky to pull the wonder weapon from it (random). I recommend Voyage of Despair because it puts a red dot on the map where the mystery box is (but you can also see a blue beam of light in the sky showing its location). In Voyage of Despair the wonder weapon is called “Kraken”.

Use the mystery box and when it gives you the wonder weapon hit it with :r3: . Then it turns from blue to green and can be picked up by another player! As soon as the other players pick it up, the trophy unlocks.

Do not pick it up yourself from the mystery box! It’s best to do this via headset with a friend. Have your friend stay close to the box (they can distract the zombies). When you have the Wonder Weapon show up in the box, knife it with :r3: and let your friend know to grab it real quick. If you wait too long it disappears, you only have a few seconds for this!

Prestigious Award
Attain max level or Prestige with 25 different weapons in Zombies
In Zombies Mode, check the Armory to see your weapon levels. You rank up weapons by killing zombies with them. This is very grindy, you have to level up 25 of 33 weapons in Zombies! After reaching max level with a weapon you can prestige it but that’s optional. Either leave it at max level or prestige it, either way it counts towards this trophy. You’ll have to focus on a new weapon when you’ve reached maximum level with one. Most weapons have fixed spawns on walls. Others are from the Mystery Box. Weapons also vary depending on the map.

There are 33 weapons total (not counting the knife because it has no levels), you “only” need to max out 25.

Clarification: This concerns only weapon XP, not player XP. It has nothing to do with your player level. Each weapon has a level of its own which unlocks new weapon attachments.

Centennial
Acquire 100% of the Stars
*Glitched*

In the title screen after booting up the game, on the left side you can click on “Specialist HQ” > “Specialists” > Pick a Specialist > Click “Continue” to start their introductory onboarding mission > complete this mission to unlock skirmishes for that Specialist > Win 3 Skirmishes with that Class (Recruit, Regular, Veteran) > Repeat for all 10 Specialist Classes.

So in total you must do 10 Specialist Tutorials and then 10 x 3 Skirmishes. After each skirmish the difficulty increases (Recruit, Regular, Veteran).

These are just some quick matches against bots, and not hard at all. You should combine this with trophy “Sleuth” so be sure to read up on that trophy description to not waste any time.

*Note: This trophy is known to glitch out for a lot of players.

MP 101
Complete all 10 Specialists Tutorials
*Glitched*

In the title screen after booting up the game, on the left side you can click on “Specialist HQ” > “Specialists” > Pick a Specialist > Click “Continue” to start their introductory onboarding mission > complete this mission to unlock skirmishes for that Specialist.

Do this for all 10 Specialist Classes (do each one’s tutorial mission).

*Note: This trophy is known to glitch out for a lot of players.

Skirmisher
Win 1 Skirmish with each Specialist (10 total)
In the title screen after booting up the game, on the left side you can click on “Specialist HQ” > “Specialists” > Pick a Specialist > Click “Continue” to start their introductory onboarding mission > complete this mission to unlock skirmishes for that Specialist > Win a Skirmish and repeat for all other Specialist Classes.

When you win your first Skirmish you automatically earn a start for that Specialist.

This and trophy “Stargazer” are the same thing and will both unlock simultaneously. You should also combine this with the “Sleuth” trophy.

Sleuth
Unlock all intel (videos and audio files)
In the title screen after booting up the game, on the left side you can click on “Specialist HQ” > “Story” > “Intel”.

Here it shows the requirements for each video / audio file. You do all of these in the Specialist HQ Skirmishes.

These are all the required tasks:

  • The Black Hole: Earn 10 Bronze Stars
  • The Immortal Candidate: Get 15 consecutive kills in 1 round without dying.
  • West of Eden: Get 10 kills with each of the primary weapon classes.
  • Rauls Way: Get 25 melee kills.
  • The Running Woman: Get 50 kills with secondary weapons.
  • The Panama Suspect: Earn 10 Silver Stars.
  • Kiss of Death: Get 100 headshot kills.
  • Dead Again: Get 50 kills using Scorestreaks.
  • Eternal Sunshine… Get top of the scoreboard 25 times.
  • Lost Highway: Get 100 kills using Specialist weapons and equipment.
  • Mason’s Ladder: Get 150 kills on Veteran.
  • From Vorkuta with WTF: Earn 10 Gold Stars.
  • Angel Heart: Complete all Combat Immersion Challenges.

To do these go to Specialist HQ > Specialists > Pick a Specialist > Play their introductory onboarding Mission > then you unlock Skirmishes for that class (Team Deathmatch). You can then farm the tasks in the Skirmishes.

Stargazer
Earn a Star with each Specialist
*Glitched Trophy*

In the title screen after booting up the game, on the left side you can click on “Specialist HQ” > “Specialists” > Pick a Specialist > Click “Continue” to start their introductory onboarding mission > complete this mission to unlock skirmishes for that Specialist > Win a Skirmish and repeat for all other Specialist Classes.

When you win your first Skirmish you automatically earn a start for that Specialist.

This and trophy “Skirmisher” are the same thing and will both unlock simultaneously. You should also combine this with the “Sleuth” trophy.

“Do not play Rush Mode except for the 3 trophies: Multiplicitous, High Score, Team Player. Those 3 are the only ones you will get in Rush, everything else is in Classic / Public Matches.”

Well thats not right i got “The Slaughterhouse” in Rush

Okay, I forgot about that. Yes some miscellaneous ones you can do in Rush as well. But the majority is not possible because you need stuff from Classic Mode like the Pack-a-Punch or Artifacts etc. that won’t spawn in Rush.
I’ve changed that text part in the guide, thank you 🙂

For Throw a Dog a Bone trophy, I’ve figured out where to stand to get the trophy however it is best gained with a friend it seems. In Model Industries, you have to look out the window near Rk7 towards where the wolf head is, Citadel, near where the wolf heads appear and where you pick up the hell retriever, there is a giant hole above your head to where the cells dog is and for the Gondola, I think that one is quite easy. I used sniper for Model and Gondola and a grenade for citadel

I have a question about the “Special Issue Equipment” trophy. I assumed this was connected to 10 medals from the equipment tab in multiplayer. However I have got 14 medals with the combat axe and still it didn’t pop. Then I thought you might need 10 different ones, but you don’t get a medal for the molotov, trophy system, frag. Can someone tell me if this is a bugg or what the actual requirements are?

These aren’t the SPECIALIST pieces of equipment. I believe this trophy refers to things like the Mesh Mine.

It’s the equipment that you get if you aren’t running axe, claymore, etc. It doesn’t take a point for the class loadout

Easy way get Prophet use the drone when drone get someone kill him with headshot and u get one special issue Equipment Medaille

      October 30, 2018 at 1:54 pm

Best way to do this is pick prophet use the mini car and headshot a stunned enemy. Do this 10 times and voila. Another one is pick crash, drop the special ammo and get a quick double kill.

For the Sleuth trophy, the trophy itself isn’t glitched however the challenge to get 10 Bronze Stars doesn’t unlock for me. I have got all silver stars as well, but the bronze Star one says I haven’t done it yet.. some sort of glitch in the game itself?

For surviving 20 rounds in the IX starting area, it is best to do 3 challenges since it gives you a 1x PaP’ed Strife. It’s definitely worth it to go for this. If one of the challenges can’t be completed in the starting area, you can simply reset. In order to activate the challenges, you need to knife a rope connected to one of the banners inside the arena on the outer wall.

For Easter Eggs, it’s important to mention they CANNOT be done in casual difficulty, only on normal or higher. For the rest, they can be donde in Casual, I’ve most of them on casual and they popped out.

    Constellation Prize

Did this a few times with serkets kiss never got the Trophy. Than i checkt trophy again and it said with orion one. So i did it with not upgeradet and got it first time. Donno if this a bug or not because the challenge trap 9 zombies with a charged shot of orion works with serkets too.

    Acidic Alchemy

After challenge 3 you can pick up a big bowl in the middel of the arena. In da Pack a punch room in the snal siedaway u can pick up a gear and a chain with this 3 parts u can build an acidic trap ( needed for a step building a orions gift). There are 4 locations one each of the entrance to Ra and Danua Altar and one each half way up to the topfloor of Odin and Zeus Altar. You can build per game only 1 trap so you must builde the 4 traps in 4 diffrent games.

    Forma trophy “Straw Purchase”

Build death of Orion in IX, when you open mistery box to get the weapon press R3 and let your friend take the weapon, that counts for the trophy and it saves you for trying many times from the mistery box and waiting to get a wonder weapon

You cant get the Easter egg related trophies on casual difficulty. It has to be on normal or higher. However all the other zombie trophies can be achieved on casual difficulty. I am 45% there. The blackout trophies are going to be the hardest in my opinion.

Attain max level or Prestige with 25 different weapons in Zombies

I think this Trophy is broken :/

I´ve 26 Weapons with max level, no trophy. I´ve read that we must max prestige 25 weapons…
I hope that´s not true and this trophy is broken…

The “prestigious award” trophy is glitched. Unless you have to prestige 25 weapons and THEN max level it, it is glitched.

Leveled 25 weapons to max level. Nothing happened.
Did it in casual, so whent to normal and leveled another weapon to max level. Nothing happened.

    Prestiged a weapon, nothing happened.

Going to play a MP zombies match and level a weapon to max to see it this works,

I found ‘my home is the arena’ extremely easy. After starting the banner challenges I ended up receiving a pack-a-punched strife as a gift. It’s epic!!! And you can buy ammo off the wall without opening a door. Actually gave up after round 27 because it was just too easy.

You’re right, this is the only unfinished guide on my site in the 11 years I’ve been doing this and this pains me. Frankly, this game released at the worst possible time, just a few days before I got Red Dead Redemption 2. So I had to decide whether to skip BO4 entirely (because I knew there was no way I could finish it before RDR2) or make at least as much as I could. So I decided to do what I could in the meantime. Then I worked over a month for 16 hours/day on the full RDR2 Wiki & Strategy Guide, and handed over BO4 guide to my co-writer Jeanmi96 to help me complete it but it never got done. So right now it’s in limbo until I have time to fill in the last gaps. After all the RDR2 stuff was done I went on Christmas break and since then one game dropped after another and I delivered complete day-1 guides for all of them. I haven’t had a free day to get back to BO4. I’ll still complete it eventually, I always finish what I start. By now BO4 has lower priority than brand new games though so I’ll focus on the new stuff like Days Gone and Mortal Kombat 11 first. When I have a break I’ll finish this guide (over the summer when nothing releases).
