Cold Pork is a Side Quest in Dead Island 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Cold Pork side mission.
Starting Location: Venice Beach

Quest Giver: Trent
Requirement: Having Finished Main Quest #14: The Red Mist
Reward: 3,000 XP, 500 coins
Mission Info: Trent may be mellow, but he’s not willing to sit back and wait for his turn to get picked off like Bud did. Trent will feel safer if the Blue Crab boys had some iron in their hands, and he thinks the police station may hold the answer to his prayer for guns.
Objectives:
- Break into the police station on the beach
- Search the police station premises for guns
- Bring the guns back to the Blue Crab
- Make Trent’s day
Starting Location: Cold Pork
Upon completing the main quest Red Mist, Cold Pork will become available to start. Back in the Venice Beach headquarters where the fast travel map is, talk to Trent near the workbench. Listen to the dialogue and wait for the objective prompt to appear.
Break into the police station on the beach
Leave the Blue Crab building you are in and follow the marker to the police station which is at the beach in the south.
Search the police station premises for guns
Once at the police station, you first need to disable the mag-lock to unlock the door inside. Break both electric boxes – there is one in the toilet to the right and the other is behind the reception desk on the wall, you must shoot that box or throw a weapon at it.
Once destroyed, the door will open and you can proceed. Enter the office on the left, kill the zombies and pick up the Police Dept. Keycard off the shelf on the wall to the right.
You are now able to unlock the security keypad in the corridor outside. Once outside the storage room, pick up the storage room key off the counter and open the storage room door. Interact with the green case on the floor to complete the objective. Loot everything in this room for extra parts for weapons etc.
Bring the guns back to the Blue Crab
Head back to the Blue Crab. Leave the police station and run straight back. You can avoid all combat here if you wish.
Make Trent’s day
Talk to Trent and listen to his dialogue. Once complete the quest will end and you will be rewarded with 3,000 XP, $500 cash.
