This guide shows all Elden Ring Legendary Ashen Remains Locations. There are 6 legendary ashen remains. They are spirits that you can summon to aid you in battle. The legendaries are the most powerful in the game. Finding all of them unlocks the Legendary Ashen Remains trophy and achievement.

Legendary Ashen Remains #1: Lhutel the Headless
Dropped by boss “Cemetery Shade” in Weeping Peninsula: Tombsward Catacombs. Inside the catacombs you must hit the flame pillar to lower it, then hit it again and jump on it to raise it, activate the switch and enter the gate to the boss.
Legendary Ashen Remains #2: Redmane Knight Ogha
Dropped by boss “Putrid Tree Spirit” in Caelid: War-Dead Catacombs. This is only accessible after defeating Shardearer Radahn. In the area where you fought him you can go to the north of the desert to access this. You can still go there any time after defeating Radahn, but not before.
Legendary Ashen Remains #3: Mimic Tear
Found deep within Nokron, Eternal City (only accessible after defeating Radahn). See the above video at 4:03 for the path. You find it in a Chest right before Night’s Sacred Ground site of grace, behind Stonesword Key Gate. From Ancestral Woods Site of Grace in Nokron you must jump to the rooftops and parkour your way down.
Follow the ledges and roofs until you get into a cathedral building with an altar. Find the chest at the end of the hallway past the altar. It’s the building immediately before Night’s Sacred Ground site of grace.
Legendary Ashen Remains #4: Ancient Dragon Knight Kristoff
Dropped by boss “Ancient Hero of Zamor” in Altus Plateau: Sainted Hero’s Grave. In order you to open the gate to te boss, you must go up the ladder to the right of the gate to find a shadow enemy at the end (can’t damage him). Lure him all the way back where you fell through the floor to the room before the falling blades, where there’s a circle of light on the floor. Lure him into the circle of light and he will become vulnerable. Defeat this enemy and the gate to the boss will open up.
Legendary Ashen Remains #5: Cleanrot Knight Finlay
Collected from a chest in Elphael – see How to reach Elphael. After the Prayer Room site of grace head straight, then you can jump off a balcony to an arch on the right, from there to a little plaza with a pagoda, to the left of it is a room with a single enemy and a chest that contains it. See video at 14:38.
Legendary Ashen Remains #6: Black Knife Tiche
Dropped by boss “Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader” at Moonlight Altar: Ringleader’s Evergaol. This area is only accessible after doing all steps for the “Age of the Stars” ending. See Age of the Stars Ending Guide.
