Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree All Scadutree Fragment Locations

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC adds 50 new collectible items called Scadutree Fragments. They can be redeemed at Sites of Grace to receive Scadutree Blessings which permanently reduces the damage taken from all sources in the Realm of Shadows. Effectively, they increase all your resistance stats by a little over 1% per blessing you redeem.

Finding a large amount of Scadutree Blessings can make the DLC significantly easier. Especially against the hardest bosses you will be able to survive more hits. Attacks that might otherwise instant-kill you can then be survived. It acts as a type of secondary leveling system unique to the DLC area, the base stats still matter, but without collecting Scadutree Blessings you’d have a hard time.

These items are frequently found at Sites of Grace. At Sites of Grace you can check how many Blessings you received, but the more you have the more Fragments they will cost per Blessing.

Also refer to Revered Spirit Ash Blessings, they bolster summoned spirits’ and spectral steed’s abilities to deal and negate more damage.

1. Gravesite Plain

1 dropped by a sparkling ghost enemy on the hill south of Cliffroad Terminus site of grace. From Main Gate Cross site of grace ride southward up the hill to reach this area.

1 dropped by a sparkling ghost enemy carrying a vase, slightly east of Scorched Ruins.

2. Belurat

At the Miquella’s Cross in Belurat. From Site of Grace: Small Private Altar, go up the stairs and past the dual-sword-wielding samurai. Follow the path until you reach a waterfall and a ladder in a house, climb up the ladder. Go up the stairs, you will now reach a broken bridge. Take the path to the left of the bridge, when you reach small scorpion enemies there will be rubble on the right. Jump over that rubble to reach a room with Miquella’s Cross (yellow glowing cross). In front of it is this Fragment.

3. Cerulean Coast

Found in a cave, on a body. From Site of Grace: Cerulean Coast West, head north and then take the left path. On the right side of this path is a cave where you find this.

Directly at Site of Grace: Fissure Cross (accessed through “The Fissure” site of grace by dropping down the big hole in the in the very south of the map, at the southern tip of Cerulean Coast)

4. Jagged Peak

Between Site of Grace: Jagged Peak Mountainside & Jagged Peak Summit. Near the Jagged Peak, after two big drakes, where the 2nd rock comes rolling down, found on a corpse (not at site of grace).

5. Charo’s Hidden Grave

1 dropped by a Hippo enemy at Charo’s Hidden Grave. You reach this area by dropping down the big dragon corpse at “Grand Altar of Dragon Communion” in the south of Jagged Peak, it leads to the area on top of Cerulean Coast.

6. Scadu Altus

Directly at Site of Grace: Highroad Cross.

Follow the road north from Site of Grace: Highroad Cross. On the right side of the road is an altar that has this item. Where the fire giant is walking around, about halfway between Highroad Cross and Shadow Keep.

In the raider camp slightly west of Site of Grace: Moorth Ruins. Just on the other side of the road. There’s an altar in the middle of this small camp that has the item.

1 dropped by a sparkling ghost enemy carrying a vase in the south of Moorth Ruins (before dropping down the hole in the ruins).

Scadutree Fragment #23

Directly at Site of Grace: Scaduview Cross. From Moorth Ruins head to the southeast edge of the cliffs, there you find a “wind stone”, destroy it to open the wind torrent. Now jump in the wind torrent at the north side of the hill to be catapulted up where the site of grace is.

Scadutree Fragment #24

North of Moorth Ruins at the entrance to a cave, past a pool of water. This is the cave leading to the northwest map piece.

Scadutree Fragment #25

Below Site of Grace: Recluses’ River Upstream, in the river, behind some poison flowers. From the site of grace jump over the gaps at the cliff until you see what looks like an altar with glowing stakes and bird enemies across the cliffs. Drop down one level at the cliffs then go left, from where the altar with glowing stakes is you can drop down to the river. You pass through this area on the way to Abyssal Woods.

1 dropped by a Hippo enemy outside the entrance of Darklight Catacombs (there are two Hippos close together in same place, each drops one of these). You pass through this area on the way to Abyssal Woods.

Just before Site of Grace: Dark Chamber Entrance, at the stairs leading up to it. This is in Shadow Keep > at the top of “Storehouse”. From the site of grace “Storehouse, Seventh Floor” you must activate the lever on the floor below you to move the hanging skeletons, then you can jump over the hanging skeletons to get to the 8th floor. Defeat the unique enemy in front of the gate, go through the gate and you will find this.

8. Shadow Keep, Church District

Found in Church District, on the arms of a statue, must jump to it from the side of it, top floor.

9. Scaduview (Backside of Shadow Keep)

Directly at Site of Grace: Shadow Keep, Back Gate. Go through Moorth Ruins > Bonny Village > take road north to Church District Entrance and enter Shadow Keep through its alternate entrance on its east side, from Site of Grace: Storehouse, Back Section go up the ladders, then over the wooden rafters, then use the elevator, then use another two elevators on the outside to go down to the backside behind Shadow Keep.

10. Land of the Tower

Directly at Site of Grace: Rauh Ancient Ruins, East.

1 dropped by a sparkling ghost enemy carrying a vase, on the top floor of Rauh Ancient Ruins. Fast travel to Site of Grace: “Rauh Ancient Ruins, East” – turn northwest and follow the flooded path back into the ruins (backtracking the way you came). Enter the first alley on the right where there’s a wind torrent. Don’t jump up this first wind, instead right straight ahead to find a second wind torrent and jump up this one. Where you land will be the sparkling enemy. Or simply put; reach the top floor and defeat all sparkling enemies in the Ruins you come across and you’ll find it.

Scadutree Fragment #41

1 dropped by a Hippo enemy. Go to the top floor of the ruins, there is an open wall to the south that leads outside to a plateau. Drop down the plateau to reach a little pool with the hippo.

Scadutree Fragment #42

From Site of Grace: Rauh Ancient Ruins, West, ride up the stairs into the ruins, then ride straight ahead to find this past two enemies throwing bouncing red balls. Just before heading to the outside area of the ruins.

Scadutree Fragment #43

Found in Temple Town Ruins. You must enter the Ruins through the hole in the south wall. Then go upstairs and over the roof. Drop down to find this below the roof. To reach this area see How to Reach Northwest Map Piece (Rauh Base).

11. Abyssal Woods

12. Enir-Ilim

POINT OF NO RETURN WARNING – SEALING TREE: Using the Sealing Tree behind the Church of Bud will make most NPCs disappear from the game. You will no longer be able to advance their side questlines. The ones that remain in the game are Ymir & Jolán (found at Cathedral of Manus Metyr), Igon (found at Pillar Path Waypoint and then throughout Jagged Peak), Dragon Communion Priestess (found at Grand Altar of Dragon Communion until you defeat Bayle the Dread), Fire Knight Queelign, and Moore (he’s still there but his quest will fail). All other NPCs will be removed from the world. So if you have any unfinished side questlines do them now, it’s your last chance! You can still free-roam the world at any point after here, just the NPCs will disappear.

IMPORTANT – NPC Helpers for Endboss: It’s HIGHLY recommended to finish the questlines of St. Trina / Thiollier + Leda / Sir Ansbach. Then you can summon Thiollier and Sir Ansbach to help during the final boss fight. This makes it much easier. Without doing this you’d be on your own during the final boss fight which can make it nearly impossible to beat without overleveling or using game-breaking builds (it’s by far the hardest boss in the entire game).

Scadutree Fragment #47

Directly at Site of Grace: Spiral Rise. This is in Enir-Ilim after burning the Sealing Tree at Church of the Bud.

From Site of Grace: Spiral Rise, go upstairs and step out onto the roof. Go over the roof, you will encounter some bird enemies. Then go up the next staircase until you reach the next roof where an ice samurai enemy waits. Enter the room before the roof (before the samurai enemy) to find this on the altar.

Scadutree Fragment #49

One of the best hidden fragments in the game that requires going through a long jumping section across narrow ledges. From Site of Grace: Spiral Rise, turn around and go down the stairs until you reach the mage enemy casting lighting traps from the ground. To the left of him go down the staircase and straight across the hallway (don’t enter the room on right). You will reach a dead-end, the path is broken. You must drop down to the staircase below, you will see a blue glowing item on a corpse there. Go up these stairs and behind a chalice the railing is destroyed. Stand at the railing and look down and to the left to see arches leading to corpses with blue glowing items on them. You have to drop down to the ledge straight below the broken railing, from there jump over to the stone arches. Just before the corpse on the last arch, drop down the broken arch to the arches below. Walk/jump around the wall until you reach the a tower with a broken roof in front of you. Look down and jump to the statues on the side of the tower. Then walk around the side and drop down the broken floor to the staircase below, there’s another corpse with a blue item to indicate the path. From the corpse with the item turn right and you’ll see an open window below you on the side of the tower. Run and jump over there, landing in the window. This is a long and tricky jump. After this just drop down the window and walk outside, you’ll be attacked by a large scorpion and the Scadutree Fragment is on the altar in the middle of the plaza. There are also two elevators here, each leading to a different path (one leading to a hidden powerful sword).
