Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) Laid to Rest Walkthrough

Laid to Rest is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Laid to Rest side mission.

• Starting Location: The Mothers’ Mines, just north of Eistla
• Quest Giver: Wounded Royalist
• Requirement: Unlocked during the ‘Brotherhood‘ Main Quest
• Reward: 2800 XP, 1200 Gil, 30 Renown, 20 Clutchmine, 1 Meteorite
• Quest Info: A dying soldier on the road to Stonhyrr asks Clive to deliver his ring to his parents’ final resting place. The request made, he expires, hopeful that his soul might find peace at last.

Objectives:

• Bury the ring at the grave of the soldier’s parents

Starting Location: Laid to Rest

Bury the ring at the grave of the soldier’s parents

The soldier’s parents are buried in Kritten Hollow, which is far to the north. If you are starting this quest when you first reach it in the story, you’ll have to progress through the story battles at the Great Southern Gate first. Once you reach the small cliff with the gravestone, hold to bury the ring and complete this quest.
