Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) Weird Science Walkthrough

Weird Science is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Weird Science side mission.

• Starting Location: The Hideaway
• Quest Giver: Owain, Engineer
• Requirement: Unlocks during the Main Quest ‘Out of the Shadow‘ after talking with Mid upon completing the ‘Letting Off Steam III‘ Sub-Quest.
• Reward: 900 XP, 40 Renown, Curiosity: Treated Potion Satchel, 1 Black Blood
• Quest Info: Owain, denizen of Mid’s dungeon, asks for Clive’s assistance in obtaining the bomb ash he needs to complete a new invention. He has only to slay a bomb king a beast so beastly it has earned its own billet on the hunt board.

Objectives:

• Use the hunt board to locate the Bomb King
• Slay the Bomb King in the Crock
• Gather bomb ash (0/3)
• Deliver the bomb ash to Owain in the Hideaway

Starting Location: Weird Science

Use the hunt board to locate the Bomb King

Check out the hunt board in the Mess and it will tell you that the Bomb King is in the Crock, Sandbreque. Fast travel to the Dragon’s Aery obelisk, then head south to the Imperial Chase and the Crock area where the Bomb King is:

Slay the Bomb King in the Crock

Kill the enemy.

Gather bomb ash (0/3)

Pick up the ash from the floor where you killed the Bomb King.

Deliver the bomb ash to Owain in the Hideaway

Return to Owain to compelete this quest.

This finishes Weird Science Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI).
