Ghost of Yotei contains 13 Shrine Climb locations. Finding and completing all Shrine Climbs is one of the requirements for the Body, Mind, and Spirit trophy and the Golden Mask cosmetic. Each shrine also gives a charm which grants you passive buffs.
Shrine Climbs are mountainous paths you must climb up. On the summit you will find a shrine that you must pray at by swiping down on the Touchpad. These are some of the lengthier “collectibles” to get, as each climb takes about 3 minutes. The start of the shrine path is indicated by torii gates. They marked on the map when you go near them.
Nothing is missable, everything can still be done after the story in free-roam.

Yotei Grasslands
1 – Fall’s Rest Shrine (Charm of Kanayago)

4 – Sun’s Peak Shrine (Charm of Izanagi)

This shrine can only be reached during Main Tale: The Oni. You will automatically complete it there as part of the story, can’t miss it. You can’t return to this area afterward, but there’s nothing else there (no other collectibles or trophy relevant items).

7 – Amber Respite Shrine (Charm of Masakado)
8 – Faithful Leap Shrine (Charm of Futsunushi)
9 – Risen Fog Shrine (Charm of Kibitsuhiko)
Nayoro Wilds
10 – Patient Frost Shrine (Charm of Yamatotakeru)
Teshio Ridge
11 – Enduring Hold Shrine (Charm of Masaka)
12 – Chilled Peak Shrine (Charm of Sukunahikona)
Oshima Coast
13 – Budding Grace Shrine (Charm of Takemikazuchi)
For completing all shrines you unlock the Golden Mask. Note that the “Forgotten Shrine” in the south-west of Oshima Coast doesn’t count as a Shrine Climb but instead counts as Mythic Tale: The Storm Blade.
