Introduction

Welcome to the Ghost of Yotei Trophy Guide! For platinum you need around 85% completion. You need all collectibles, except for Ainu Items, Pillars of the Fallen, and only 30 of 61 Altars. You must finish all other collectibles and all 31 bounties. Of the side tales (side quests) only certain ones are needed for trophies, about half of them are not needed. Everything is still available after the story in free-roam, nothing is missable. It’s worth noting that there’s no in-game overview of completed tales and bounties. It can be beneficial to keep track of completed ones yourself, then after the story you can quickly narrow down what you have left to do. The map is split into 6 regions (Yotei Grasslands, Ishikari Plain, Tokachi Range, Nayoro Wilds, Teshio Ridge, Oshima Coast). They are outlined in yellow when you fully zoom out on the map and scroll over them. The majority of the map can’t actually be explored and stays fogged, only what gets outlined in yellow are the explorable regions (about 20% of the full map size). You reach Ishikari Plain, Teshio Ridge, and Oshima Coast as part of the main story. The main story tales associated with these can be done in any order. The Roadmap Steps can be done in any order too, almost everything is accessible as soon as you reach each region.

Step 1: Complete the Story, work on Side Tasks as you wish [10+ Hours]

Your first step is to complete the story. There are no difficulty-related trophies, so you can play on the easiest setting ‘casual’ and make use of accessibility settings if you like. You can work on side tasks as you see fit (any Side Tales, Bounties, Collectibles, Yotei Six Camps you come across). Nothing is missable and you can still do everything after the story in free-roam. What dialogues you pick during the story doesn’t matter.

It’s good to do the trophy-relevant side tales in each region as you go, since they give many useful rewards including new weapons and armor (see Step 2).

If you get stuck, here’s a full walkthrough of all tales in the game:

  • Ghost of Yotei Walkthrough – All Tales

Step 2: Side Tales (Side Quests) [10 Hours]

After the story, clean up any Side Tales / Sensei Tales / Mythic Tales you have left. It’s best to do these before the bounties and collectibles to gain access to all weapons and armor. Below are all the trophy-relevant tales, anything not listed can be ignored.

Yotei Grasslands:

  • Old Trails – trophy Naming a Friend
  • Takezo the Unrivalled – trophy Unrivaled
  • The Five Teachings – trophy Unrivaled
  • Master of the Shamisen – Song for trophy Like Mother, Like Daughter

Ishikari Plain:

  • The Way of the Yari – trophy Way of the Yari + trophy Spear Fishing
  • The Path of the Yari – trophy Way of the Yari
  • The Yari’s Fury – trophy Way of the Yari
  • The Bomb Maker – trophy Gift for Destruction
  • Fight Fire With Fire – trophy Gift for Destruction
  • The Undying Samurai – Armor for trophy For All Occasions

Tokachi Range:

  • The Path of the Odachi – trophy Way of the Odachi
  • The Odachi’s Redemption – trophy Way of the Odachi
  • The Soul of an Instrument – Song for trophy Like Mother, Like Daughter
  • The Spider Lily General – Armor for trophy For All Occasions
  • The Dragonfly Armor – Armor for trophy For All Occasions

Nayoro Wilds:

  • The Heart of the Ainu – trophy Sitturaynu + Armor for trophy For All Occasions
  • The Load We Bear – trophy Sitturaynu
  • A Melody of Thoughts – Song for trophy Like Mother, Like Daughter

Teshio Ridge:

  • The Way of the Kusarigama – trophy Way of the Kusarigama + trophy The Owl’s Talon
  • The Path of the Kusarigama – trophy Way of the Kusarigama
  • The Kusarigama’s Shame – trophy Way of the Kusarigama
  • The Winter Farms – trophy Kunai Defender
  • The Crimson Kimono – Armor for trophy For All Occasions

Oshima Coast:

  • The Storm Blade – trophy From One Ghost to Another
  • Guns and Consequences – trophy From the Hip

Step 3: Bounties [10 Hours]

There are 31 Bounties, all of which are required for trophy Master Bounty Hunter. All bounties are accepted from Bounty Boards at the inn of each region. New bounties become available after you complete previous ones. They come in the form of wanted posters, which can then be tracked on the world map and point you to a search area. You must then find a specific enemy in that area and kill him.

These can be tricky to locate as the game doesn’t mark the exact spots for you. For all their locations refer to:

  • Ghost of Yotei All Bounty Locations

Step 4: Collectibles & Yotei Six Camps [20 Hours]

For platinum you need almost all of the collectibles. The only ones not required are: Ainu Items, Pillars of the Fallen, and you only need 30 of 61 Altars of Reflection. There are also more Special Places than you need, and the 3 Sumi-e from side tales aren’t required for trophies. Of all other types you need everything. Also do any Yotei Six Camps you have left (red camps on map).

It’s beneficial to equip the armor “Robes for Sitturanyu”, this automatically guides you to Shamisen Songs and Sumi-e Paintings. You get it from the tale The Heart of an Ainu, which you should already have from Step 2. Prioritize collecting the 8 Shamisen Songs first, these guide you to other collectibles automatically. In Accessibility Settings also turn on “Wind Gust Camera”, this automatically points the camera to your map marker which makes navigation easier. Once you have a collectible marked on the map you can simply put a marker on it and the wind will guide you there.

Here’s everything you need for Platinum:

  • All 12 Nine Tails Puzzle Boxes – trophy Trickster Fox
  • Only 10 Special Places – trophy Speaking with the Land (there are more but only 10 needed for trophies)
  • All 5 Mountain Reliquary Puzzles – trophy Child of the Mountain
  • All 11 Fox Dens – trophy Guardian of Inari
  • All 10 Wolf Dens – trophy Wolves of Ezo
  • Only 15 of 18 Sumi-e paintings – trophy An Artist’s Eye
  • All 15 Bamboo Strikes – trophy Body, Mind, and Spirit
  • All 13 Shrine Climbs – trophy Body, Mind, and Spirit
  • All 16 Hot Springs – trophy Body, Mind, and Spirit
  • Only 30 of 61 Altars of Reflection – trophy Moments of Reflection
  • All 8 Shamisen Songs – trophy Like Mother, Like Daughter
  • All 12 Armor – trophy For All Occasions
  • All 5 Melee Weapons – trophy Tools of a Warrior
  • All 4 Ranged Weapons – trophy Take Aim
  • All 5 Quickfire Weapons – trophy Quick Draw
  • All 22 Yotei Six Camps – trophy For the Living

Step 5: Miscellaneous Cleanup [1 Hour]

Should you have any of the miscellaneous combat/skill specific trophies left, you can quickly clean them up now. Even after clearing out the whole map you can still find enemies in the open world to do whatever you have left. The trophy descriptions here have locations where everything is doable after having cleared out all enemy camps.

A Moment to Breathe
Get a perfect score in ku-e-shinok.
Bronze

Ku-e-sh is an archery minigame, found in Yotei Grasslands > Golden Foothills > Ainu Hunting Grounds.

Talk to the little girl there. Then you can hold Touchpad to switch to a flashback from the past where you play as a kid. In the flashback, talk to the men that stand where the girl was, then follow Jubei to start the archery minigame. You must hit all 6 rings in one go. You only have 6 arrows so can’t miss a single shot. If you fail, you can retry this as often as you need in present times by talking to the man again.

3 rings are static and easy to hit. The 4th ring is rolled by the kid in the back right corner, shoot it after it rolled past the log. The 5th ring is being thrown by the kid in the middle, this is the hardest to hit. Aim at the center of the ring when it reaches the highest point of the throw, don’t aim ahead of it. The 6th ring is being rolled by the kid on the left, this one is easier to hit.

If you’ve been playing with aim assist enabled, it can be helpful to turn it off for this under Settings > Aim Assist.

Unrivaled

Naming a Friend
Pick a name for your horse.
Bronze
Unlocked from completing 1 side tale:

  • Old Trails – starts in Yotei Grasslands > Shikotsu Woods > The Old Stables, by approaching the stables
From the Hip
Perform a Pistol Parry during a Standoff.
Bronze

First, you need to unlock the Tanzutsu (Pistol) by completing Sensei Tale: Guns and Consequences in Oshima Coast.

Then, you will need to buy the following 2 skills by praying at Altars of Reflection:

  • Revenge > Attacks > Standoff Streak
  • Revenge > Attacks > Standoff Unlock: Pistol (shows as “hidden” until you bought the above skill and did Sensei Tale: Guns and Consequences)

This allows you to use the Pistol during standoffs. Now approach a group of enemies that shows the “Standoff” prompt at the bottom of the screen. Press :l1: to start the standoff. Hold :triangle: and release when the first enemy starts his attack. When the second enemy starts his attack press :triangle: once. On the third enemy press :r1: to shoot with the pistol, which unlocks the trophy.

The “Standoff” option won’t always be there. It usually appears when you approach a larger group of enemies, or when only a few enemies are left in a fight. An easy spot to do it is in Ishikari Plain, at the entrance to Ishikari Castle. There’s a group of enemies in front of the castle that will have the Standoff option. If you’ve already conquered the castle, then try it at any other Yotei Six Camp. If you’ve finished all camps already, you can still find random groups of enemies throughout the open world, just ride around Yotei Grasslands and do it against any group of enemies who ride on horses.

The Owl’s Talon
Use a Kusarigama Assassination to kill an enemy from a distance.
Bronze

First, you need to unlock the Kusarigama (Chain Weapon) by completing Sensei Tale: The Way of the Kusarigama in Teshio Ridge.

Then, you will need to buy the following 2 skills by praying at Altars of Reflection:

  • Melee > Kusarigama > Ferocious Whirlwind
  • Melee > Kusarigama > Lethal Talons

Now sneak up to any enemy from behind in stealth and you will get a button prompt to do a ranged Kusarigama takedown with :triangle: + :circle: if you have at least 1 Spirit. Do this to unlock the trophy. It can be done from a few meters distance even if the Kusarigama isn’t equipped.

In case this doesn’t unlock, make sure you are playing with default Control Scheme (Settings > Controls > Default).

If you’ve already cleared out the entire map, you can still find enemies at Oshima Coast > Benten Port. Fast travel to the main entrance there and you’ll spawn right behind a group of enemies, can immediately do a stealth kill on them.

Sayonara
Shoulder Charge or Typhoon Kick an enemy off a cliff to their death.
Bronze

First, you will need one of two things to charge/kick enemies:

  • Either complete Sensei Tale: The Way of the Yari to unlock the Yari Typhoon Kick. It can then be performed by equipping the Yari (Spear) and holding :triangle: to do a charged heavy attack.
  • Or visit Altars of Reflection to buy the skill Onryo > Survival > Shoulder Charge. This allows you to press :circle: while sprinting to knock down enemies.

Now use one of these methods on an enemy near the cliff to knock them down. They must die from the fall, if they survive it doesn’t count. An easy repeatable spot that still works after having conquered all Yotei Six Camps is in Teshio Ridge > Shipwreck Shoal > on the road south of Sarufutsu River. Here a random encounter can spawn where an archer is on a wooden platform at a tree and a bunch of other enemies ambush you. Lure one of them to the cliffs at the eastern edge of the map and knock them down the cliff into the water for an instakill. This spot still works reliably after having cleared out the entire map. If the enemies don’t spawn, just fast travel back and forth between other regions and Soya Port or try camping until they spawn (roughly 35% spawn chance).

You Dropped This
Disarm and kill an enemy with their own weapon.
Bronze

First, you need to buy at least one of the following two skills by praying at Altars of Reflection:

  • Onryo > Attacks > Disarm Counter – hold and release :triangle: to hit enemies that are charging up a yellow glowing attack to disarm them.
  • Onryo > Attacks > Onryo’s Strike – if you have 3 Spirit you can press :l1: + :r1: to instantly disarm enemies, however this has a chance to instakill them.

Use either of these to disarm an enemy, then pick up their melee weapon and throw it back at them by pressing :square: . This must kill the enemy to pop the trophy. It helps to damage them a little bit beforehand to make sure they will die from a single weapon throw. If you use Onryo Strike, you’ll need to find a heavily armored samurai as regular unarmed enemies can instantly die from this attack. Therefore, using the “Disarm Counter” skill is generally better for this, you just need to wait for any enemy to do a yellow glowing attack, then hold and release :triangle: .

If you’ve already cleared out the entire map, you can still find enemies at Oshima Coast > Benten Port. Fast travel to the main entrance there and you’ll spawn right behind a group of enemies. Just wait for one of them to do a yellow glowing attack. You can also still find random groups of enemies throughout the open world after having conquered all Yotei Six Camps.

The Horror
Make 20 enemies collapse in fear using Onryō’s Howl.
Bronze
Onryo’s Howl is automatically unlocked in Main Tale: The Old Inn, early in the game. Afterward you can use it with :l3: + :r3: when the bars in the bottom right of the screen next to your weapon have charged up. This will create a gust of wind that knocks down one enemy in front of you. Then you can instakill that enemy with :square: . Use this 20 times total across the game. You don’t need to do it in one encounter, it counts cumulatively across all encounters.
Wolf Bait
Use an empty Sake jar to trigger a Wolf kill.
Bronze

First, you need to complete at least 2 Wolf Dens to purchase the following Wolf 2 skills:

  • Wolf > Summon > Wolf Howl
  • Wolf > Summon > Wolf Strike Summon

Each Wolf Den you complete grants 1 Wolf Skill unlock. The “Wolf Strike Summon” grants a chance to spawn the wolf when you hit an enemy with an empty sake jar. This won’t trigger every single time so you may need multiple attempts for it. Find any empty sake jar and throw it at an enemy, with some luck the wolf will appear and kills that enemy, which unlocks the trophy. You can frequently find empty sake jars near enemies at Yotei Six Camps.

If you’ve already cleared out the entire map, you can still find enemies at Oshima Coast > Benten Port. Fast travel to the main entrance and head north-west to the entrance of Iwasaki Framstead, there you find an empty sake jar in front of the stables. Pick it up, walk to the entrance of Benten Port and throw the jar at one of the enemies from behind in stealth.

Two as One
Complete a successful Standoff or Assassination with a companion.
Bronze
This is pretty much a story-related trophy, you’d have to actively go out of your way to try to miss it. During many objectives of main quests and side quests you will be playing with a companion. Sometimes you are forced into Standoffs as part of the quest progression, or you can manually initiate a Standoff with :l1: during enemy encounters when only a few enemies remain. While an NPC companion is with you, successfully with a Standoff. A standoff is when an enemy stands across from you and you must hold :triangle: and release the button when the opponent starts his attack. Then press :triangle: again when a second enemy starts his attack to kill him too. If you release the button too early you will get hit and the trophy won’t pop.

Alternatively, you can also get it by doing a stealth assassination on two enemies standing close together and your companion takes out the second enemy. This too will happen pretty much automatically during some stealth sections of quests.

Even if you were to fail all opportunities for this during all quests, you can still do it any time with your wolf companion in the open world, therefore it’s not missable. Most of the Wolf Dens feature a standoff where you’re assisted by your wolf. If you were to miss it during all Wolf Dens too, then you can buy the Wolf Skill “Wolf Standoff” (each Wolf Den unlocks one Wolf Skill). Then whenever you do a standoff there’s a chance you’ll be joined by your wolf as a companion, which you can do against random enemy encounters in the open world even after having cleared out the whole map. So if you missed it during the story just complete the Wolf Dens, can make a manual save before each to retry it if needed.

Brush Fire
Kill an enemy by catching grass on fire.
Bronze
First you must buy the Hankyu Bow (Medium Bow) from Ran the Bowyer in Yotei Grasslands > Old Inn/Yotei’s Shadow Inn. Then talk to her again to upgrade the bow once, which grants access to Fire Arrows.

Now you can craft Fire Arrows at your camps. While near your horse hold :left: to make a camp and choose the ammo crafting option in the bottom right.

Find any tall grass in which you can hide while crouched. Lure an enemy to it and shoot a fire arrow at the grass, let the burning grass kill the enemy. It won’t work on short grass, has to be the tall grass that’s used for stealth. This is best done at Yotei Six Camps, they usually have some tall grass nearby.

If you’ve already cleared out the whole map you can still find enemies in the open world and lure them to tall grass. For example, in Yotei Grasslands > Sarubetsu River > Matsumae Crossing (named map marker), ride south along the river. Sometimes there is a rope-trap in the river, riding through the rope triggers a ronin ambush who are hiding in the tall grass along the river.

Sake Flight
Collect 10 full jars of Sake.
Bronze
Sake Jars are used to replenish your health. You frequently find these at Yotei Six Camps and in some other buildings. However, at the start of the game you can only carry 2 Sake Jars, and if your inventory is full you can’t pick up any more of them. You need to drink your Sake by holding  before you can pick up more. Odds are you will get this naturally while working on other trophies. Should you still be missing the trophy after you cleared out all side content, then simply run around liberated Yotei Six Camps to look for full Sake Jars. Practically every Yotei Six Camp has them, especially around the purple reward chests after liberating the camps.
Very Persuasive
Interrogate 10 enemies.
Bronze
This will unlock naturally at some point while working towards the other trophies. Sometimes, you will automatically interrogate the last enemy standing during combat encounters to get info on quests or nearby locations. In a few tales these are scripted mandatory events so you’ll do several interrogations automatically. Just attack groups of bounty hunters who come after you, random enemies riding around on horses. You will also automatically interrogate some bounty targets. Don’t worry about this trophy, it’ll happen without trying.
Charming
Upgrade 10 charms at least once.
Bronze
For this you need to upgrade 10 different charms at least one time each. Upgrading the same charm multiple times doesn’t count.

This requires having upgradable charms. Not all charms can be upgraded. You will automatically get more than 10 upgradable charms when doing all other trophies, so don’t worry about this. It will likely be one of your last trophies. You get upgradable charms from certain Collectibles and trophy-relevant Side Quests. When you scroll over side activities (such as Shrine Climbs), it shows specifically if it gives an upgradable charm. You can also buy some easily upgradable charms from Taro (little boy) who randomly appears at your camps and is randomly encountered at little tents in Tokachi Range.

You can view your charms under Gear > Charms > click the Charms menu > the upgradable charms will show their current level next to their name > when you scroll over them it will show on the right side what challenge you must do to upgrade the charm. A few charms will automatically be upgraded by finding all Collectibles. Then the rest requires doing little combat challenges.

It’s good to combine the upgrade challenges with Yotei Six Camps, but if you already cleared them out you can still find enemies in Oshima Coast at Benten Port, at the Main Entrance. There are also still random enemy encounters throughout other regions. You can even farm these via checkpoint restart. So as long as you have at least one Yotei Six Camp left, could kill a few enemies to do a challenge, restart checkpoint and repeat.

Like Father, Like Daughter
Fully upgrade the Wolf Blade.
Bronze
The Wolf Blade is the starting katana. It can be upgraded at the forge in your home, which is unlocked early in the game and will be marked on the map.

There are 4 upgrades total and they require the following materials:

  • Upgrade 1: 20 Metals
  • Upgrade 2: 20 Metals + 20 Oni Raider Mask Pieces
  • Upgrade 3: 20 Metals + 20 Shinobi Steel
  • Upgrade 4: 60 Metals + 15 Gun Parts + 15 Rare Metals

You will find enough of all materials as part of the main story. Each new story region contains new higher grade materials. So simply play through the story and you’ll be able to afford the final upgrade.

Metals come from ore deposits found in all regions. Oni Raider Masks are frequently dropped by enemies from The Oni main tale onward. Shinobi Steel is frequently dropped by enemies in Teshio Ridge region (reached in Main Tale: The Kitsune). Gun Parts are dropped by enemies in Oshima Coast (reached in Main Tale: The Saito Brothers). Rare Metals are from gold ore deposits and sometimes found in loot chests. You will frequently find the rare high grade materials in the purple reward chests at the end of Yotei Six Camps.

Purely Decorative
Acquire 30 pieces of Vanity Gear.
Bronze
“Vanity Gear” are cosmetics: Armor Dyes & Weapon Kits. These are used to apply different colors to your armor/weapons. You can simply buy armor dyes from merchants at the major inn of each region. Weapon Kits are frequent rewards from Bounties and Pillars of the Fallen. There are a lot more than 30 cosmetics in the game. While working on the other trophies you will almost certainly get this automatically, so don’t even worry about it.

Acquire your parents’ charms from the peak of Mount Yōtei.
Bronze

For this you must complete Shrine Climb: Mount Yotei Shrine. The entrance is in the west of Yotei Grasslands, to the west of Yotei River. It will get marked on the map when you go near it. You can do this at any point after the Prologue when you reached the open world:

Follow the linear shrine path up to the summit of Mount Yotei. There you must pray at the shrine to get the charm of your mother and father. The trophy unlocks as soon as you pray at the shrine.

Gifts for a Ghost
Collect 8 offerings left for the onryō.
Bronze
At the main inn of each region you can find a gift altar where people leaves you gifts to celebrate your story progress. You automatically get 8 gifts from main story progress. You can collect more than 8 gifts from a single inn, you don’t have to find them at different inns. For example, the Yotei’s Shadow Inn (Old Inn) in Yotei Grasslands has a gift altar to the left of the inn’s entrance. The gifts give you crafting materials and cosmetic items. After the story you will have access to more than 8 gifts automatically, so just grab everything from one gift altar then and the trophy will unlock.

At any time during gameplay press :right: to open photo mode, then use  to add customizations to your photo (such as camera roll, contrast, emote). Then close photo mode with :circle: and the trophy will unlock. You can take photos by pressing the Share-Button and they will be saved to your console’s media library, but taking a screenshot isn’t needed for the trophy.

Spear Fishing

First, you must do Sensei Tale: The Way of the Yari in Ishikari Plain to unlock the Yari weapon (spear). As part of this tale you automatically spear 4 fish, leaving only 1 more to do for the trophy.

After the tale you must find a fish that jumps out of water. These are in shallow water and will be indicated by a white circle in the water. While the fish jumps out of the water, have the Yari weapon equipped and press :square: to spear it.

For example, you can find fish in Tokachi Range > in the north-west in the water near Amber Respite Shrine entrance. If there are no fish, fast travel away and come back until one spawns, or try sleeping at camp to advance time.

Good with Coins
Win a charm from playing zeni hajiki.
Bronze

Go to any gambling den at the inns throughout the game and participate in the zeni hajiki minigame until you win a charm. Zeni Hajiki is a coin flicking minigame where you must flick your coin at other coins without it falling off the table. The first match usually rewards you with only money, the second match gives a charm. Each gambling den gives a different charm, but for trophies you only need to win one. When you scroll over the gambling dens in fast travel it will say “Coin & New Charm”.

  • Yotei Grasslands: Kuttara Gambling Den – in the south of Yotei Grasslands at Lake Kuttara. Must first do a miniquest for the guy there before you can gamble.
  • Tokachi Range: Huranui’s Rest Inn – in the middle of Tokachi Range region along the river
  • Teshio Ridge: Red Crane Inn – hub area of this region, visited during story
  • Oshima Coast: Benten Port – hub area of this region, visited during story

You can make this minigame easier by going to Settings > Accessibility > Zenji Hajiki Power Display = On. This shows the predicted shot distance which makes it trivial as you can hit all coins in one go.

Fireside Performance
Play a shamisen song while camping.
Bronze
At any point after reaching the open world (after Prologue), press :left: to call your horse, while standing at your horse hold :left: to make camp. The button prompt will only come up when you’re standing right next to your horse, if you’re too far away you can’t make a camp.

When you sit at the camp, scroll to the bottom right and interact with the shamisen (the ‘guitar’) and play any song. You can play the default “Atsu’s Song” which you automatically learn in the prologue.

Speaking with the Land

One of the visually best looking games so far on PS5 with a beautiful game world.
Relaxing trophy hunt, nothing complicated to look out for.

    Have fun everyone!

Not directly a bugged trophy, but there is a bug in the game that can prevent you from finishing a specific Yotei Six Camp (Kasuga Village) in Oshima Coast. The door to the camp leader is not opening for me. Since the leader is also a bounty target, I can’t finish my last bounty and my last camp. That makes two trophies unobtainable for me currently without starting a new game or loading my last save before the bug occurred and losing 20 hours of gameplay.

Normally that door is supposed to open when clearing out all other enemies in the camp. So yeah could be buggy.

Took off most of the week for this game. Work keeps asking why I always use my vacation time so frequently this time of year and I’m just like BL4, GoY, SHf, BF6, Digimon, Pac-Man, Atelier and so many other games are keeping me busy. Plus I get like 6 weeks of vacation a year and spend it all September-December due to it being the season for gaming.

Thank you for the trophy guide. I thought Ghost of Tsushima was mediocre because of how formulaic and repetitive the open world was, so I expect to feel the same about Ghost of Yotei, but since the game’s not bad and has an easy Platinum trophy, I’ll probably play it eventually when I’m done with the other games in my backlog.

Is there anything that would prevent you from getting the trophy where you need to knock somebody off a cliff? I know you mentioned one location is still available post game. Are there enemies in that area that can be knocked off? I haven’t noticed a lot of enemies wandering the fields like in Tsushima so that leads me to believe there won’t be much fighting content post game To be able to find a cliffside. Thoughts?

There are still “random encounters” after clearing out the map. But they actually spawn in fixed predetermined locations. So the place I show for knocking someone off a cliff will work post story but the enemies won’t appear there every single time. So you’ll need to fast travel back and forth a few times until the enemies appear, but all ambushes/encounters like this eventually respawn in the exact same spot over and over again. There’s also an enemy camp right next to this spot called “Soya Port” so if you haven’t conquered it yet are guaranteed to find enemies there and can lure them to the cliffs.
Also there’s always a group of enemies at Benten Port, these always spawn when you fast travel there.

I always ignore all miscellaneous/side stuff until after story to confirm if anything’s missable / if everything can be done post-story. I did all misc combat/skill trophies after I had already gotten all other trophies and collectibles, they all worked fine in the end. Just not a whole lot of places left with guaranteed enemies but enough to do all trophies. They should’ve put an option to reset enemy camps imo, maybe they will patch it in later.

I found that most collectables can be checked in the “Game Help” of PS5. There are also some items in the game help with weird namings.

Finally somewhere where I can find an actual comprehensive list for the trophies and how to complete them. Have you already gotten the platinum or is it still unclaimed by anyone yet?

Another possible route for “You Dropped This” trophy is using Onryo Howl. I terrified someone into falling over with the gust of wind and he dropped his weapon. Throwing it at him unlocked the trophy. The weapon drop has only happened once for me in the 10 or so times I’ve done it though.

Kind of funny because I was approaching the enemies to test out the disarm arrows and see if I could do it that way assuming they lived from the disarm arrow.

Don’t use the Charm of Hachiman (Maximum standoff streak increased by 1) when going for the on the hip trophy (Pistol kill in standoff). For some reason this charm is bugged and prevents you from being able to get the pistol kill on the 3rd kill in the standoff. I tried for hours trying to get the pistol standoff kill and it only worked when I removed the charm.

When you have equipped the Charm of Hachiman you will be prompted to shoot the pistol on the fourth enemy during the standoff.
